William's Passing
Wayne, it has been too long since we corresponded. I am sorry to learn of William's passing, but he is now at peace. My diabetes is stable, and I hope yours is also. These are difficult times, but reflections of one's invaluable moments with meaningful others is a way to move forward. All the best, Alan.

RE: re: William Robinson McGowaan
Thank you so much Wayne. Let me know if there are any changes you'd like me to make. I did post a photo yesterday. But, please do post one when you get one and let me know. :-) A

Do you know, and would you be willing to share Bill's birth place for his memorial? :-) A

RE: re: William Robinson McGowaan
No problem. If I am there with a camera when his stone is set, I will take a photo and post it. That being said, when you get there and get a photo to post, please do post it and let me know and I will remove the one I put up. I try very hard to make sure everyone who is actually buried in Fort McPherson has a photo, but it doesn't matter to me if I take that picture or not.
There are a couple dozen names listed for the fort who are still walking this earth. A few dozen more that are either mistakenly entered or have not yet made their way here ie. waiting for a spouse to be buried etc. And the handful of old burials who are probably buried under an "Unknown", but I lack the information that they were moved from one of the other old fort cemeteries. And the new burials, of course, who don't have stones yet. So we stay at 99% photographed.
You have a good day, and be well. :-) A

So glad that you appreciate the photo. I was there by myself taking photos, so it probably wasn't me that you saw.

RE: Re: Dwayne Variance
You are welcome. I came across his memorial when I was looking through that cemetery. It's always sad to see people so young pass away. So sorry about your friend.

Not forgotten
Hello Wayne,
How are you? Doing well I hope!
You must forgive me for being so late in responding to your message. You had a lot to say and I had a lot to say as well. Thanks for being open and honest.
Anyone's sexual orientation is never a problem with me. You can rest assured that you can speak openly about anything. (fine details are your secrets) O.K?
I had prostate cancer in 2006 and it almost killed me. They had to remove it and unfortunately all your sex organs go with it. Including your body's ability to keep producing male hormones. So the testosterone is gone. And my sex life is too. However we all carry and produce both male and female hormones. Men and women! I have found that I love women more than ever. It's beautiful how they express how they feel with very few words. I am a bit more emotional too! My female hormones have kicked in.
You know what? I like it Wayne. I always had problems having any female friends at all. Now, that's all I have and a lot of them. Life feels good!
Will write back soon.

RE: Zelda Rubenstien Memorial
Thank you for writing. I don't know who put those virtual reunions together, or how much maintenance they receive, but I agree that Zelda belongs. The easiest way would be to send the information you sent me to
