Bio and Links
Bio Photo I began searching for Maiden names of Women in the Family. Years of off and on research made some exciting finds.Names lost of Grandparents Mothers etc on the male side and also on the female side. Names never to be known unless uncovered. Thanks to the new Family I have found and their sharing of the wonderful Price history of our relatives. Thanks to the Journey To Cape Fear By Michael Price (A wonderful work),if not for EEPrice,I would not have the a special thanks to you.South Carolina Price Family,The Price-Collins Family, I say a big thanks to all the help. A special thanks for the help of the Bethel Baptist Church,a cousin there, in MS that led me to a path of My GG Grandfather. All I have to say about the wonderful and exciting lives in my history is WOW. Very impressive for those that grabbed the brass ring and ran with it.Before(2012) I knew nothing of my Paternal side of the lost Family.

Charlotte, Check your message to me on my contri-butor page where you requested that I delete this individual since you apparently couldn't. I, too, am unable to delete him. I thought perhaps Find A Grave could resolve the issue. Linda

Price memorials in Magnolia Cemetery
Hello, and thanks for the edit for Margaret Aston Price II. Since you are obviously part of the Price family I have transferred all of the Price memorials I have in the Magnolia Cemetery to you for management.

Thank you,

Terry Stinson

Charlotte, I tried to delete this upon your request and it won't let me either. Maybe you better check with Find A Grave to see what can be done. Sorry. Linda

RE: John Wacon Price
Hi Charlotte,

Sorry it's taken me a while to respond.

As for your questions....I have no idea! I've never taken the Price's back to where you have since it's not my direct line. Normally I'd give it a shot but after just a few minutes I'm so confused I've thrown in the towel.

I wish you the best of luck. If anyone can get to the bottom of it you can!

Scott Price
He does have a death certificate. According to that, he was born in Rockingham Co., NC. His mother is listed as Caroline Holbey---but his father is listed as unknown.

I´ve added the new information to his Find A Grave entry.

Thanks for asking.

Flora and Scott Price
Just letting you know that I have added the information that you sent. Connected Flora to her husband, Scott, and added Flora´s maiden name.

Thank you for that.

Photo request

Hi, Charlotte.

I saw your request for a photograph of the grave of Henry Cook at the Cook Family Cemetery near Lake View, SC.

There is no marker for little Henry's grave, and there has never been one, unless he once had a wooden marker, but there has been no trace of a marker for him during my lifetime. You may want to remove your photo request, for it cannot be filled.

The only person who might have known where in the cemetery Henry lies is long deceased. Many years ago Minnie Cook Worley told my sister and me that Henry's parents (Ebenezer Cook and Telatha Miller) and grandparents (Solomon Miller and Mary "Polly" Copeland) were buried in unmarked graves near the center of the cemetery, where there are few stones. My guess would be that Henry lies in or near that central area.

According to Minnie, Solomon Miller's youngest daughter, Mary Ann (Miller) Edwards, was brought back to Cooktown by her children and was buried per her wishes near her parents. Minnie said Mary Ann's tombstone stands very near Solomon and Mary's graves.
