|I've enjoyed spending time in cemeteries since I was child. This site makes me happy to know that people are always remembering those that have come before us. I enjoy getting exercise and just generally being outdoors via walking the cemeteries. It's also great to help folks find their past through volunteer efforts. I often think of it as my good deed for the day. I generally have no connection to most of the postings I've created. My family are featured under my virtual cemeteries listings. My ancestors had the family names of Baker, Bauer, Creamer, Crisman, Edmond, Elgert, Everhart, Fandrei, Fisbeck, Gebhard, Hinzman, Jones, Kuhn, Kukuck, Millet, Riddle, Ridge, Roscrons, Schoen, Scott, Springer, Shoup, Streich, Von Gro, Wilde, Willert, Wolff. |
Please feel free to contact me if you have corrections, additions or would like a transfer. If you have a family connection, please feel free to contact me. If you are happy with my services as a volunteer, please leave flowers on one of my loved ones files in remembrance. Thanks!

I am working on a project to identify the last resting places of many "old soldiers"that had roots/ties to Vermont. In my research of Kansas cemeteries I have found you as contributor of several monument/markers for memorial pages for s few of these patriots. What I have found so far are Cleveland Weeks in Russell Co.,Andrew Hosley in Ellis Co. and Eli Sheldon, also in Ellis.Co. There may be others I haven't found yet. May I use these photo's to post on the Vermont Civil War site? ( www.vermontcivilwar.org)

Thank you for your consideration.

Thank you so much for your volunteer time and effort! I was thrilled today to find my own grandfather's great-grandfather's memorial (Allen Harper 04/15/1819 - 03/21/1888).
My aunt shared my genealogy with me last summer back to Allen Harper and his wife, Mary Hopley Harper. I will put in a request for Mary's grave to be photographed so that she can then be added as Allen's wife.
My grandfather's grandfather (Allen and Mary's son) Frederick Augustus Harper (01/03/1843 - 10/29/1920) does not yet have a memorial on Find A Grave and is buried in Adams, Nebraska, as is the case with Frederick's wife, Cassambra Mayberry Harper. I will watch intermittently for their memorials to be added and then request for Frederick to be linked as Allen's son.
Thank you again for all of your dedication to helping others trace their genealogy.
(great-great-great-granddaughter of Allen Harper)

I am a Vermont Civil War buff, and am working on a project to identify the last resting places of many "old soldiers" that had ties to Vermont. Philemon Hanchett is one such soldier. I am asking you if I may use the photo you contributed to his Find A Grave memorial, to post on the Vt. C.W.site? ( www.vermontcivilwar.org.

Would you please allow me to take over the memorial page for Mary Theresa Dinkel Weigel? She is my husband's aunt (his father's adopted sister). Her memorial #28405626.
I am a contributor: #48819749
I now have Mary's adoption papers and wish to put more information into her page. I have just sent her actual place of birth, Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.

Thank you for your reply. September, 2016, or sooner, sounds great to me. I'll look forward to hearing what you find.
