"IRISH EYES ARE SMILING"
JOHNSON CLARK
The info on his memorial is all that I could find~~He is a relative of mine through the Clark line. My grandmothers sister was Clarisa Phillips who married into this Clark line.

Elva Elizabeth Pelham Clark
Are you related to Elva Elizabert Pelham Clark. My Grandfathers middle name was Clark. I was hoping there could be a connection since ages and names were close. Also both from Wapello Co. Iowa

RE: James Holden tombstone
Hi Mamie.....

I'm very glad that you found James Holden's tombstone through Findagrave and my pics. The new stone was placed as part of a project to mark graves of Rev. War soldiers with new military markers. Many markers are broken and practically unidentifiable. I took many of the pics of the markers for Genesee County and surrounding counties. These i submitted to the SAR project which is on-line through rootsweb. I have the website marked if you'de like it......his stone is amongst the photos on line.....

As far as his son......he's prob. buried in this cemetery too. I know that there were others in this plot which if i remember right had metal fencing or some sort(chain?).....Wish the snow would go away so i could go and check for you.....
