Bio Photo The following memorial is for a dear child abandoned and could use TLC from visitors : Baby Girl April

I've been working on my family's "tree" for several years now and since most of my family burials are nowhere near where I live, Find A Grave has been very helpful to me. I was born in Arkansas but ended up in Texas before I turned one! Family names I am working on are: BLACK, THOMPSON, ALFORD, ELMORE, MARTIN, BOLLS, JESTER, and others. Many of these folks are in Arkansas with some being in Alabama, Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana (and the occasional drifter out to CA!)

As for the photos I have taken and added to memorials, you are welcome to use them for your personal family trees, on, etc. No need to ask me first.

And a BIG thank you to all the wonderful volunteers out there who claim my photo requests, inform me of problems and generally just help the whole FindaGrave community!

RE: Dale Black
We believe the discrepancy on the grave markers are the Date of Burial. I will put a note on the memorial to this fact.

Thanks for catching that. Sometimes it is just the drop down box. If you are not careful it will put in the month next to the one you think you clicked.
I have correct it.

Thank you for bringing my attention to this. I have found a lot of discrepancies from the last 2 yrs. I have contacted the county and we are trying to correct the problem. I put a not on the memorials that I have found.

Thank you again.

Hello, I believe this is my grandfathers first wife who died very young. His name was James Wesley Mings, Sr. and was born in 1883 also. I was told that she died in a boarding house fire at a very young age. Please, let me know if this is her. I have a picture of her with my grandfather from about that date. Thank you, Jacque

RE: Clara Faye Watts
No problem. After I sent the picture, I realized she is the grandmother of my high school friends and basketball team mates.
