As an amateur genealogist, I have been researching primarily the Driscoll side of my family from Oswego, NY, but also O'Neil, Harrington, Shepherd/Shepard Blanchette, Leroux and many more.|
In my travels, I take pictures of not only the graves of my ancestors and extended family, but of any headstones that have surnames that appear in our tree, in the hopes that the information will be of use to someone. I also snap pics of any that I see in serious disrepair, to preserve the information before it is lost forever.

|francesca premo||Timothy Harrington in Oswego Co d. 1852|
I was wondering if you know who his parents were. With the dates I believe he would have been the son of my 4th Great Grandfather, Timothy Harrington who immigrated from Ireland in 1849 and was married to Anna. I saw that you left flowers on his findagrave memorial so that is why I am contacting you.
Lucy is my husbands great grand aunt, been doing the Leroux family for a few years now. Do you have a copy of the family picture taken in 1903?
|Anne Leroux||Lucy Leroux|
Hiya, I came across Lucy Amell (Hamel)& her husband Daniel Leroux marker today. But its not in Nativity Cemetery but in Precious Blood Cemetery about 6 miles away. Let me know if you would like to add it. Not sure why the marker would not be with the bodies
|Richard Flint||Pauline Blanchette|
Can you identify the persons in this photograph. I believe the adults are Frank Florien Blanchette and his wife Mary Elizabeth LaRoux and the tallest child is Arthur Joseph Blanchette, their son, but am not sure of the other 4 children. Pauline is one of the other 4 children?? Thanks.
I would like to correspond with you about your Harrington relatives...I see you may have been related to a Timothy that died in 1852 in Oswego County. Please email me if you would like to correspond, email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org thanks!
|Jim Ottmer||Josephine Camp Bailey|
Thank you so very much for the great photo of the headstone. We appreciate you taking the time to find and photograph the headstone.
|Kevin Thomas West||Lucy West Bancroft|
That is the most beautiful photo of a cemetery monument/headstone I've seen in awhile. Green Mount Cemetery is certainly pretty, as cemeteries go. :-) Thank you so much for the time and effort in getting this for me. I will pay it forward.

I was on the find a grave website and noticed that you took a photo of the Alonzo T. Derby tombstone. I just wanted to inquire why you took a picture of that specific tombstone? Is there a connection between you and them? Please let me know as soon as you can. Thank you.
Jonathan G, Tuma
I notice that you are researching some Harrington's in the area. I'm wondering which Harrington's are you researching? and where were they from before living in the area? I am related to Timothy Harrington b.a. 1821 in Ireland d. 1896 in Syracuse while living with his daughter, Lavina Harrington Brennan. Lavina had siblings: John, James, Catherine, Anna and Edward. Timothy's wife's name was Ann.
THANK YOU FOR TAKING AND POSTING THIS HEADSTONE!
