Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hello, and welcome to my page. I am a Kister by birth, I live in Virginia, with my Husband & a granddaughter that we are raising.
We have two daughters and a total of 4 granddaughters and 1 grandson.
I have lived in Utah, Idaho, California, Washington, Oregon, Alabama and Virginia. We have settled and will stay put here in the Appalachian Mountains, it is just wonderful here.
I discovered the fascinating world of Genealogy and have been researching family history since 1995.
My family on my father's side is originally from Walter, Saratov, Russia. I am part of the second generation born in the States.
I am interested in the Sir names of Kister, Kaufmann, Babcock, Widup, Macbeth, Gettman on my father's side, and Wright, Sweet, Jones, Brady, Cox; Hale; Paulson on my mother's side.
Hubby's side is Morris, Elam, Lightfoot, Coffey, Jeffrey, Koehl.
Also interested in Worley, Barnett, Chaney, Smith, LaMon, Umstead, Cho, Iliff, & Galardo.
When I found the Findagrave.com web site, I realized I had to be a part of it all. We actually find graves as a family hobby, we all participate, it's great!
My hubby is interested in the Revolution and Civil wars.
I like to search and add names in local grave yards that are not presently on the database, and finding old obits on the net that hasn't been added as yet.
If anyone finds info that I have submitted wrong, please bring it to my attention and I will correct it right away. Comments and suggestions are welcome. If you can suggest changes or additions to any memorial that I've posted, please don't hesitate to let me know.
If you see a family member or loved one, and wish to have ownership, please don't hesitate to ask.

Your's in grave finding, Barbie :)

RE: Re: Mark M Poulson
Hi, I did find out more about Mark M. Poulson, his name is Mark Moses Paulson #20213965, He is the son of Joseph Paulson and Julia Clawson Paulson. They are buried in Vernal, Utah. The other web site was information I had sent in and I did have the parents wrong. He is NOT the son of Christian Orson Poulson and Mary Cornum. Thank you for bringing this to my attention so that I have been able to correct it in findagrave.

Mark M. Poulson
Hi, Where did you find Mark M. Poulson, #53656346. I have keep the Sanford cemetery records since 1990, and I did not have him on our records. If he is buried in Sanford I would like to add him to the records. I do not have record of his parents having this child; his mother Mary Cornum is my great aunt. So you can see I am really interested in knowing where the information for this person came from, so if neededd I will add him to my family records as well. Thanks you, Marilee

RE: Re: David Dinsmore
I am not sure what you are talking about. Did I request something for a David Dinsmore Memorial. I have no record of this and I do keep good records of this sort of thing. I am not perfect so I could have missed one. Was it a photo request? I looked through those on my photo request page and there isn't one there. Please me know, because I do not even know which David Dinsmore this would have been and there are 15 of them on the system.

Hugh Scott headstone
Thank you so very much for the picture of the headstone--I guess I need to contact the church about it's condition. Did you speak to anyone there? Thank you again!

OMG, that is so sad and infuriating at the same time. Why would someone stack those up like that? That really ticks me off. Well thank you for going to get the picture, I really do appreciate it.
