RE: David P. Shrope memorial
You're very welcome. It's always a challenge to read stones in an old cemetery. I couldn't read anything else but his name. I figured it was the correct David P. Shrope because Eliza is next to him. Regards, Joan S.

RE: Mary Schenck Mershon
I'll try to find out if a copy is available publicly (in one of the NJ local genealogical or historical collections). -Joe

RE: Mary Schenck Mershon
You're very welcome. Have you ever seen a copy or transcription of the Schenck family Bible record?

Michael Jacob Buchheit #116194394
I am Michael & Louisa Schropp Buchheit's gg-grandchild and I was wondering if you would be willing to transfer their memorials to me to maintain?

Sarah Wiedman

Re a gravestone at Hickory Grove Cemetery, Waverly, Lackawanna Co. PA. I'm curious about your assertion that the wife of J.S. Mershon is Sarah Wiedman, and that J.S. is John Schenk.

Is there further information on another side of the stone?

Thank you for all the work you've done and for any further information you might have.

Albert and Anna Schropp
We just returned from Harleigh Cemetery in Camden, NJ, where we successfully located and photographed Albert and Anna. Adjacent to them we found Edward Schropp (1883- 1926). Edward does not appear to have a memorial page on Find A Grave,so if you would like to post one for him, I would be happy to upload it for you. Please advise, Pat

RE: Gross family memorials
You're very welcome. We were there and it made sense to look up as many as we could.

Hi just wanted to say thanks for all the work you have done and also I am a Parker and have done extensive work on the family tree. I am also looking for family. I have DNA results to help out with my line of Parkers. Any questions I can help you with?

I have posted your photo. I apologize that it took so long. That cemetery is about 60 miles from me and I usually wait till I'm working in that area before I go.

RE: Mary Stone Parker memorial
I added two pictures taken a little closer in. Unfortunately, I don't think you'll learn much. You already knew that the top portion said "Mary / Wife of". From doing a crude tracing, I believe the bottom says "[garbled] Yrs / & 3 Days / Lord is my shepherd I shall n". I wish I could get the number of years, but I'm not sure I can. Just so you know, to the left of Mary's stone is a flat stone that reads "Lucy A" and to the of that is an upright one that reads "Damaris". Both are listed as daughters of Stephen and Mary.
