Genealogy is an endless journey through life. It's a wonderful experience to find those that have lived before you. I have been a genealogy nut for about 20 years. Tracing my own family roots, as well as the roots of friends. If you find any errors on anything I have posted, send me an e-mail. I have no problems transfering memorial I have posted to family members. Any photo request in the Midland or Odessa, Texas Cemeteries, I will do my best to fulfill. |

WOW...you have done an amazing job with this cemetery. Your memorials have led me to quite a few relatives already...may find more.
I have sent links through the automatic edit. Find a Grave created that, and it is such a quick way to send information...you just click "accept". I hadn't known about it until someone sent me a note about it. Anyhow, the Boyles, Smiths and Lackeys are all relatives. Are you also related?
I hope you will find the links. I can send more information if you wish.

Their daughter (Lula) married my 2nd cousin 3x removed. May I use their gravestone photo in my Family Tree? I will gladly give you credit! Thank you! Terry

I am working on photographing all headstones at Shiloh Cemetery and wanted to let you know that I added photos of James and Nancys headstones today. I thought you might be interested since you had personal photos of them- I am assuming you are a grand child. Have a great day.

May I please use your headstone photo in my family tree? Thank you, Lori Johnson
I was wondering through the online cemetery, and happened upon this. You did very well with this memorial. I didn't realize that Mrs. Tarpley was the mother of a dear sweet lady whom used to take really good care of me when me and my grandmother went to her home.
Also, as far as the person being their own sibling, the only thing I can come up with is, they are linked to their parents, and as it is they are all the children of and so the sibling of as well. That is all I can conclude. I found out that my parents were also their own siblings, too. Coming from Findagrave, I believe.
Anyway, wanted to commend you on this memorial and most likely many more.

Same thing happened to me. I noticed that this woman is her own sibling.
I can't figure out how to correct this. Have tried several things.

Hello, I wanted to thank you for making this memorial. Clarinda Allred Freeman is my Great-Grandmother. Would you be so kind as to transfer her memorial to me, if you are not family? I'm the one that added the family picture to the memorial. Thanks,
Linda Freeman McDaniel

Do you know if you have any family named Akin in Missouri? My Maternal Grandmother was a Akin? I believe her Dad's name was John Porter Akin!
