Bio and Links
Bio Photo I would like to thank all of the volunteers who take the time to enter the SACs and information I send to them. I do research the information with Census, birth/marriage/death records and obituaries before I submit the request.

In response to an email I sent to a librarian at the Brooklyn Collection of the Brooklyn Public Library, I was told it is okay to retype an obituary or a death notice, in whole or in part, from the collection at the BDE and post it to FindAGrave memorials. The newspaper should be cited as the source. It is an orphan publication since the publisher is no longer in business so there is no copyright infringement.

Please visit Marcy Border's memorial, a 9-11 survivor who recently succumbed to stomach cancer and Cassandra Ann Morton's memorial, a murder victim who's case is still unsolved.

Please DO NOT POST DUPLICATE HEADSTONE PHOTOS ON ANY MEMORIALS I CREATE OR MANAGE. There is no reason to have two (or more) headstone photos. If the memorial is un-sponsored there is limited space. If your photo shows more detail than mine, please contact me via email to discuss it.

I will transfer memorials unless it's my direct ancestor or I'm more closely related than the requester. My goal is to reunite memorials I have created to family members. You can send the request via the suggest any other correction link under the edits tab.

You are welcome to use any photos that I have taken and posted on FindAGrave for personal use and/or not-for-profit genealogical Web sites. Please reference Find A Grave and the memorial number that you copied the photo from.

RE: Rachel Howard
Whitesville is all the way across the county from where rest of family lived. I guess 30+ miles away. Helen

When I posted this memorial, I wondered if "Colonel" is a title or his first name ?

When I do research in this Cemetery, I pass his stone and it is still a mystery.

Any thoughts ?

Christina your most welcome. I think they have all been photographed with a few exceptions but there are a LOT of beyond repair headstones and unreadable ones.
