First, let me state I do this for my love of cemeteries and history, and it's a positive way to give back to the community.

I DON'T do this just to increase my MEMORIALS as many do here!!

I volunteer my time and efforts to honor requests for anyone who asks.
You may send me an email and ask personally for me to photograph a graves site, or go through the Find A Grave method by posting a request from the memorial directly.

Please note, if I include an obituary, the surnames of the living will be omitted as well as minors.
Also, PLEASE don't post decedents pictures from the local newspapers on my memorials; if you do, I will notify Find A Grave administrators.

If you would like to have the available obituary for your relative or loved one in the Colorado Springs area, I may have an obituary archived; please ask!!

You may use my photographs for your own personal genealogy files under two simple conditions: ASK ME FIRST please, and then give me credit for the photograph. I have had people copy my pictures then post them on and on genealogy websites....and that is NOT right to use my work without my permission, which is why it is now copyrighted material!!

Please note: I am inactive on Find a Grave from the end of September - March.

RE: Longs
Pat, just a quick note, hope all is well and we
will exchange info soon. We have so much to
share about our family. I really enjoy the
research and history. Have a good week-end.

Pat, I sent a long email, it came back to me
at one point, but I resent it. Hopefully you
got it? I'll look forward in hearing from you

RE: Long Family
Patricia, it's so nice to hear from you. We are
more than likely kin. The Long's first were in
Va., then later moved into Tennessee, where my
gg grandfather, Maples Long was born and raised.
He moved his family, wife and 13 out of 15 children to Arkansas. During the Civil War, they
moved to Missouri, around Christian Co., and
Greene Co., Missouri. His oldest brother bought a large farm in Greene Co., close to Willard.
My grandfather lived in Christian Co., near
Highlandville and Clever. I enjoy the research
so much, I have worked on it for years! I don't have all of my mega research w/me, nor my own
computer, I have a borrowed laptop. I will be
more than happy to share any information about our Long's. I know most of it by memory. I'll look forward in hearing from you again soon.
Have a pleasant evening. Phyllis 'Long' Rhodes

I added the gravestone for Herbert Taylor, but so many photos already on the memorial that it doesn't show until you click on photos...
I also have a photo of both Herbert and Margaret stones together...if you want it.

RE: Harold Gene Andersen
Dear Pat,
Alfred Andersen, or Anderson as he was known, may or may not be the same person. The Alfred Anderson, who was my father was son of Chris Anderson, and Chris had changed his name from Andersen to Anderson once he got to America. Chris, was from Denmark and I have a lot of information about my his ancestry, but it is from his birth back up the line. Alfred, son of Chris, had a son named Donald and a daughter named Gloria. Who there children are I do not know. They may have been a Harold but if so he would have been born after 1945. Sorry.

Cara,Tony or TXS

I just wanted to know where you got the data on his parents.

I have them down as: Edward Halm 1864 1923 & Anna Regina KELLEY Halm 1864 ? - from Canada.

But I hadn't looked at that line in awhile so it was back when I was first getting into genealogy. And I can't look at some of my linked sources since my ancestry membership expired but since we have different parents listed (yet still from Canada) - I thought I'd ask you about it.
