 | Belknap I should read a little closer to get all the info. Mary is buried by herself and Wm. is with the other two.Added by babs on Apr 19, 2013 3:42 PM | | | babs
 | RE: Dillingham in Cave Hill I'll try again. I recently took pictures of Sallie, Dexter and Dexter Jr. for someone. I also took pictures of all others there. While checking memorials on Find A Grave I saw that there was just a "Belknap" with no first name. I got curious and checked it out. The info I sent you was what I found on Cave Hill's website. The other two people in Sec. A, lot 203 with the above people are:
Jane Belknap W/0 /Americus Whedon 1839-1915
Mrs. S. J. Girdler (Our Mother) 1818-1884
I zeroed in on your unnamed Belknap by just searching the death date and the husbands name from the obit. If you want the pictures I recommend that your make the memorials and then request the pictures. There are currently four of us volunteering at Cave Hill and we have a very quick turn around.Added by babs on Apr 19, 2013 3:40 PM | | | babs

 | Correction Sorry...Eunice on face (Wife) and Grace on left (Daughter)Added by Ken H on Apr 19, 2013 1:49 PM | | | Ken H
 | RE: Thomas Banker photos I didn't see any inscription above the name, but when I looked at photos of the face of the monument it has a lot of design cut in and it appears to be the same pattern that is above his name. Others: Grace C (on face) Eunice J. (on left) Unreadable (on back) Ida A. (not on monument)

 | RE: Joseph Dudenhoefer photo That's nice of you to want to improve photos. I guess you'll have to send the two photos for me to understand how you've changed them. They are rather dark, but that was how they appeared in the newspaper, and there doesn't seem to be more detail to bring out. I wouldn't really want to try to substitute better versions for more pictures that I've posted though because I am busy with other projects. There have been family members who have contacted me about pictures I've posted, even some writers of articles, and I leave it up to them to improve the pictures if they want better versions.Added by Suellen on Apr 14, 2013 12:26 PM | | | Suellen
 | RE: Emil Tintera photo That would be fine if you want to send me a cleaned up version. That particular photo isn't really that bad for a newspaper photo, not compared to some I've posted, but I figure a not so great picture is better than nothing.Added by Suellen on Apr 14, 2013 11:33 AM | | | N. | RE: RDC Fishkill photos uploaded Thanks for the info on how to delete messages, but I have already been deleting messages so I do know that one, I am trying to find my way around the site. Although I have been a member for a few years, I don't know much about the site. I just recently got back on, I have been very ill for the past three years and not able to do much. Any and all tips are greatly appreciated. | | | | [View all messages...] |
