I have been in genealogy a short time, and find it very interesting. I am trying to find more details and more names, and the searching is half the fun! (Kinda like putting together a Jigsaw Puzzle.) Some of the surnames I am interested in are Williams, Moran, Schmedel, Otto, Bender, Strzyzewski, Cesarz, Christensen, Langendorf, (and countless others). I am starting a search on Dorfmeister, and Grove, of which I know I am related, but don't have much in the way of connections yet.
I have my tree started at tribalpages.com. Please feel free to stop over and say hello, and if you would like to share any tips, and family branches, that would be great! I would love to hear from you. I wanted to thank everyone for adding virtual flowers to all my friends, family, and interments, (even the family and friends that I did not add, but are here). I have been trying to return the good gesture, but if I haven't gotten to some or all of your interments, please be patient. I think it's a wonderful thing to give flowers to someone, even if it's virtually!

 | Virtual Flowers Thanks for the virtual flowers on my family's memorials! :) Also, thanks for the response on the Bender graves. I need to upload the pictures I've taken although they are a little hard to read as the names have nearly faded away due to 150 years of weathering. Anyway thanks again!Added by Dara S. on May 08, 2013 5:38 PM | | | Marcel ROSVELDS
 | John Leo Moran Dawn, on Jul 10, 2007 you left a virtual flower at the grave of John Leo Moran. I just posted a photo of his headstone. Marcel Rosvelds | | | LINDA SELF
 | Moran and Self Families I am related to the Self family. Richard Francis Self and Mary Eliza Newberry Self, of Boswell, OK, were good friends and neighbors to William and Johnny (the wife) Moran. Richard's daughter had many a photo made with Edna Moran, William's daughter. I also noticed that there were some Morans buried in an Arkansas cemetery when we went to a Self family reunion. If you are interested in these photos and info, please contact me at lindaluself@gmail.com (entry 2/2013).

 | Alexander Loverly Alexander Loverly was actually my relative and his name is spelled wrong (as they did in those days). His actual name is Alexander Lyerly and he was born and raised in Salisbury, Rowan county, North Carolina. When he was 18 years old, he went to Texas to fight with Fannin and died at Goliad. I'm not a member of Findagrave, so if you could add this information I would appreciate it. | | | Gail
 | Albert & Evelyn Swanson You have added Albert & Evelyn Swanson into find-a-grave. I am working with someone, who has contacted Pine Lawn Cemetery, and says that these people are not in their cemetery. Yet, you have headstone photos. Can you double check that you have the right cemetery? Did you take the photos?Added by Gail on Jan 23, 2013 2:53 PM | | | Dara S.
 | Bender family Hello! I saw you were interested in the Bender family and that you left virtual flowers on the Bender family buried in Aley Cemetery in Beavercreek, Ohio. I am not related, but for whatever reason, that set of graves touched me, seeing how close three of the four members of that family died, and then how the youngest passed away a year later. I am planning on heading out there tomorrow to photograph the graves (as they haven't been yet). Anyway, I wondered if you knew anything about the family, such as if there were more children or what happened to the mother, Barbara? It's something I've wondered for months now.
Anyway, that was it. I hope to get those pictures taken tomorrow and praying the snow has melted enough to get a good photo of them.Added by Dara S. on Jan 08, 2013 1:13 PM | | | Lynda Puakea
 | RE: Dabinett Thanks so much for the transfer... appreciate it. Just added my info to your original page, deleted my duplicate pages, and linked all their children to them. The other Dabinetts in that cemetery are all my relatives... grandmother, aunts & uncles, cousin. My dad & sister are there, too, tho not with that name. Thanks again.... take care...

 | RE: Mercer Yes I even skied in a couple of their shows. I did elbows and knees pyramid. Just a bread and butter act but it was fun. I am from Mercer originally. Moved from the south side of Chicago in 74 and graduated in 79. I went to school with Jackie, and Jim Hahn, Sue Hahn graduated in 74 or 75? If I remember correctly Jackie should be next to her mother? Jim and Sue not sure. Thanks | | | Rich Duncan
