Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a family researcher with both Southern and Northern roots. The majority of the memorials that I have posted are of people who are related to me, and in general I know more about them than what I have written in FindaGrave.

Most the photos I have posted however are on memorials created by others, and they are of people who are not related to me. The "photos" are from sources published 1922 and earlier, which puts them in the public domain. I put them up in hopes that actual relatives will find them and be able to use them. Note: If you wish to know the source of a photo, click on it for an enlarged version. I write the source in the photo's caption which appears underneath.

If you find a picture of one of your ancestors that I posted, you are free to copy it for your personal use and/or include it in your family tree on Ancestry.com. Please however ask for permission if you intend to use a photo in a published work (and thanks to the folks who have bothered to ask me).

Two of my favorite verses: "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him." (John 3:17) and "Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God." (John 1:12)

Suellen -

Thanks for posting! I was not aware of where Mary lived prior to coming to Pittsburgh. I found/linked her to her parents.

Hi!

What a great picture you posted to her memorial! You can see that she looks a lot like her father.

Thank you so much!

Hi Suellen,

Thank you for the clarification on the parentage for this lady. Would you mind if I add what you posted on my profile page about her in the bio section so people who find her will understand why her obit says one thing but the info is not accurate?
Take care,
GW

Leo D. Sheridan (1894-1978)
I was thrilled to see the photo of Leo D. Sheridan. I saw that it was from an article in the Atlanta Constitution. I was wondering if you might possibly have a copy of the entire article that you could email me. I recall seeing that article among my mother's things, but I cannot locate it now, and I live in another state. Thank you!

RE: Nancy M. Cowan Simmons
You are correct. Apparently I had added a duplicate memorial for Nancy Simmons. I have deleted the duplicate, and added my photo to your memorial as requested.

This morning i decided to show the "Aisne Marne American Cemetery" to my 2 sons (Paul-Antoine, 10 yo and Théophile, 8 yo). I find the grave of Horace Aucoin from Louisiana, take a picture (for me friend Buddy MILLER, krlz radio, Larose, Louisiana) and put it with the informations you put before.
