Update: 12/18/2012
For the state of Oklahoma, they have another website with headstone photos. http://www.okcemeteries.net
Click on the county, then the cemetery and you can find all the headstone photos that are posted. Enjoy.

Just so everyone knows.. Ancestry.com has purchased Find A Grave.. They have a better server system and are slowly but surly changing over the system... Don't be surprised if you have trouble with the site now and then... As of 2014 it will still be a free service...

I don't need to own all my family memorials, but I do want to find my family.... I have over 100,000 family members, so all you volunteers and memorial providers, thanks in advance.... I only wish that if you are going to have a family member of mine, that you try to keep it updated...if I send you info... Thanks again for all the hard work you volunteers do for the rest of us...

I only take photos in the spring and early fall... but I know there are a ton of volunteers out here, so your requests will get done..

Thanks again....
If you need a transfer, just ask...

P.S. my grandson is celebrating his 5th year, and the doctors said he would not live a week.... Just goes to show you...

Here is a deal I will make for you... I love sharing and will share just about anything (husband says too much sharing) but I do love sharing. Enjoy anything you find and you can copy it and I need no credit. For those of you that do not share or need special credit... Shame on you...

I find missing loved ones all the time that I never got a chance to meet... I am so grateful for family and strangers that I have met that are willing to share their information. What a joy. Thank you from the bottom of my heart...

Gloria

Hi, Gloria -
I did get a photo - the first name was different and I completely missed it! Sorry for the confusion!

My pleasure! I did take a quick look through the old written cemetery records that they keep locked up in a safe and it didn't give any additional info other than what is posted on the site. If you need specific Geno info from this area to help with any "walls" let me know. I'd be happy to do a quick search through our Geno dept at the county library. Take care.

Elizabeth Eldridge
Thank you very much for this memorial Gloria. It answered a lot of questions for me. Elizabeth was my father's first cousin, and I always wondered what happened to her. No one in the Van Frank family seemed to know. She looked very much like her uncle (my grand-father), Joe Van Frank. I am sorry to see that she passed away and a fairly young age. I live in Riverside and will visit her grave. It is funny. Elizabeth's Uncle Fred van Frank (who was born in 1895) served in WW I and somehow at age 47 ended up back in the Army for WW II. Like Elizabeth, Fred in WW II was also a First Lieutenant. The joke in the family was that Fred had to be the oldest First Lieutenant in the US Army.

You're very welcome. Quite difficult to get a good photo of that stone's inscription, since even when standing there it's not easily visible. Thanks for your message and glad I could be of help.

Made the changes you requested but please use EDIT feature (tab at top right) in future. Makes it all much easier for both of us.

RE: Deborah Wade Dunster
I'm curious. SAR? Why go back to 1600's? We don't do that for DAR. Just back to Rev War Vet and parents for birth. Seems a bit odd. Still, I have seen a few that do that. They are always crossed out. (If doing one for a Colonial era lineage society....I did Thomas Dudley for one of mine)...but not for DAR. No need. ???

RE: Deborah Wade Dunster
I have no idea. Her mother Deborah Dudley Wade, daughter of Thomas Dudley, wife of Jonathan Wade, was born 27 Feb 1645. Deborah Wade Dunster, daughter of Jonathan Wade and Deborah Dudley Wade, was born March 1668. Perhaps you are looking at the mother instead of the daughter?
