Bio and Links
Bio Photo I retired after many years teaching special education. I now spend time researching and photographing cemeteries in northeast Kansas. There are many small pioneer cemeteries near here, some of which are still working cemeteries. I also try to watch over and tend to the physical graves of our local Viet Nam losses.

I gratefully receive transfers, but I am not a "collector" and rarely request them except for the closest of relatives. If you wish to transfer to me, you may, and I will care for them. If you choose to maintain memorials you have set up, that's fine, too.

I am now reconsidering transferring outside of guidelines as I have transferred a number of memorials that have not been maintained--updates are not done. I usually do corrections/additions within 24 hours, so if you have "tons" of additional information, please send it. Additions and corrections are celebrated! I truly appreciate those who use the new edit system to send them.

Kuluva Family - Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Raytown, MO
I was friends with a Phyllis Kuluva and lost touch with her after 2001. At the time I knew her, she lived in Kansas City, MO and later moved across the state line into Kansas. I've just seen there are several members of the Kuluva family in this cemetery and wondered if you were related to them. Her grave is not linked to any other.

Just wondering…former friend.

Effie Elizabeth (King) Carr #6167353
You posted a picture of Effie. She was the 2nd wife of Walter Carr. Walter was the son of Thomas Carr and Sidney Manning. Sidney was a sister to my great grandfather, Amos Manning. Was curious if you had other photos of other members of the Carr family. We are doing research on my the Manning/Carr family. Would appreciate any information you could provide.

RE: Fred C. Fletcher #99470711
Thank you. Scott's passing was such a sad thing. He wasn't in the family long, but we got to know him well and loved him. I thought he was buried near Fred, but couldn't remember for sure. We don't live in that area and I don't get there too often, but will make sure we visit soon.

Thank you again for the time you put into locating and setting up memorials.

RE: Fred C. Fletcher #99470711

Thank you so much! I have connected Uncle Fred to the rest of my family.

Thank you for setting up the memorial and posting photos. I have not been to the cemetery since his funeral, so I appreciate the info and photo to help me locate the grave. I think my cousin's(Fred's daughter) first husband, Scott Spencer, is also buried near Fred. I will get out there and place flowers on Fred and Scott's graves.

Next up is to add photos and grave locations to the memorials I maintain.

I appreciate all your hard work. I know it takes lots of time.

If there is ever anything I can do for you, let me know.

Fred C. Fletcher #99470711
Hello Suzanne,

Fred Fletcher was my uncle (my mom's brother). Would it be possible for you to transfer Fred's memorial to me? I was so excited when I found it on Find A Grave.

I have the rest of my immediate family and wanted to add Uncle Fred. We miss him so much.

Thank you,

Terri McCord (TM #48352376)
