|I do photo requests and out of the way cemeteries. I add and photograph veterans (the majority of the requests) as well as lonely graves, well cared for graves, or ones that appeal to my inner photo journalist.|
No doubt I've handled someone's parents or grandparents. I do not mean to intrude (I rarely add recent ones). I do it as a way for those who no longer live close to connect with their loved ones. I take photos and document the ones near me and others do my ancestors who are not near me. I also do it so that old graves are not completely forgotten to time and decay.
If you have any corrections, please use the Edit/Suggest A Correction feature and let me know the source of the information so I can include that. (Information without sources are fairy tales.) If you find a dupe, let me know too. Accidents happen.
I do transfers within Find A Grave guidelines. I also do transfers outside of the guidelines on a case-by-case basis. Please send any requests though the Edit/Suggest A Correction feature and be sure to include your Contributor Number. That way I get all the information necessary to do the transfer.
Unless I give you explicit permission otherwise, do not publish, repost, or upload any photos I've contributed. This includes not uploading to ancestry trees, even if marked private. (However you are more then welcome to link to the FindAGrave memorial.) It happens to be my legal right to set these boundaries. Please respect the law.
(Claims that FindAGrave photos are copyright-free are erroneous. The "no copyrighted photos" message these reports are referring are about not uploading photos whose copyrights are held by someone else. All photos take by a private citizen automatically have a copyright.)
You DO have my permission to use my photos in your own private files on your own computer.

You should also add that photo to famous memorial Aloysius Schmitt's memorial as he was the first Chaplain to be Killed in WWII.

|Terri Sager||RE: Loch (or Lock) View Cemetery|
Thank you for your reply. Thank you also for your suggestion to contact the Hawaii State Archives. I contacted them, and just received a message this morning saying they have a record for John Cruz and an infant daughter of John Cruz. I have asked for copies of these records.
|Terri Sager||Loch (or Lock) View Cemetery|
I recently received a copy of a death certificate showing John Cruz was buried in Loch View Cemetery June 1906 (he died June 25). I don't see a John Cruz listed in this cemetery on findagrave.com. Do you know if there are other burial records for this cemetery?
|Souza||RE: Dias Memorial|
Dias Memorial is not actual cemetary. It is a virtual cemetary where I have added relatives and people I know why have passed away but I cannot locate their berial. Anyone finding where they were buried I am willing to update to that location when found.

You placed a Tablets of the missing photo at Honolulu Memorial on the wrong William L Larson entry...it should be moved to 108883200. You have your photo on the navy man...not the marine. Thanks!

|David Blewster Knight||Isabel D. Friel|
Regarding her Month & Year of Birth:
The 1900 Federal Census, as pertains to Honolulu, provides a good snapshot of the Edward B. Friel family:
Edward B. Friel, head of household, born Sep 1850, in Hawaii.
Isabella D. Friel, wife, born Oct 1850, in New York.
James L. Friel, son, born Mar 1882, in Hawaii.
Henrietta C. Friel, daughter, born May 1887, in Hawaii.
Georgiana M. Friel, daughter, born Jul 1890, in Hawaii.
Obviously our census is not perfect but this information looks pretty good. I'll leave this one with you. I have no connection to this family. Thanks, David.

Do you want any additional information re. Antone J. Cunha and his wife Mary L. Cunha? They are my great great grandparents.
Have you ever heard of a Kuliouou Hawaiian Cemetery in Kuliouou Valley. No one seems to know where this Cemetery is.
