You are so very welcome. We truly were honored to visit your husband today. Mom is wheelchair bound, so after visiting Dad I wasn't able to get her out of the car again. However, we were able to park right in front of your husband's resting place. I put my hands on his stone and talked to him, and about you. It made me happy to be able to visit him for you, and to honor him in person. Mom and I also held hands through the car window and prayed. I hope you received the pictures okay. If you didn't, please let me know and I can send again. God Bless you, Mary Lou 🌺

Fort Rosecrans
Hi Mary Lou,

Today Mom and I got to visit your husband's resting place at Fort Rosecrans. . It was such an honor. I left some flowers, flag, and made a cross of pebbles. I took pictures which I will send to your email address. God bless and be with you and your family ❤️.

Hello 😃
Hi Mary, Thank you for your message. I haven't been to Ft. Rosecrans yet. I'm flying home on Friday. It would be my honor to visit your husband when Mom and I go. I will write down your husband's information. I hope my brother will be with us when we go because he is good at finding the resting places. Yes, Fort Rosecrans is so beautiful, peaceful, and sacred. I'm so thankful Dad is there. It brings me great comfort.

When I was growing up Dad and Mom took us to the lighthouse at least once a month, because I love it so much. I still want to live in that lighthouse 😁. Every trip to the lighthouse, we visited Rosecrans and paid tribute to our precious military personnel and their families.

How ironic that your kids went to Crawford. Such a small world. I graduated from Hoover High.....a million years ago 😉.

Mary Lou, Thank YOU so much for your kind words and for all you do to help others in Find A Grave. I am so glad that I was able to help you with the photos and if you need anything else from this area, let me know. I'm always glad to help if I can. I'm in touch with a Lapp relative that lives near Denver if you are also related, I can put you in contact. Email me if you want more info. Have a good day! Gary

Oh look, a chicken!
RE: Spicer's Oswego County
I'm not positive of where Mr. Owen's burial ground was, but I do know exactly where Cowan's Pond is, it's now called Coan Pond, my Aunt has a camp on the pond. There has long been a legend in the area of a woman's spirit haunting the pond, maybe there is some truth to it considering what I've just read in the old newspapers.

I'm gonna go and do a bit more digging and see what I can find out for you, now I'm inspired

RE: Loretta Tyler

I feel horrible about this but, while working on the site earlier today, I introduced a bug that accidentally attributed all new photo requests to me! I have since gone back and corrected the issue and adjusted the credit for the photo request, but I am not able to re-generate the email that you received. To thank the correct photographer, please click on their name under the photo and leave them a message or send them an email. Thanks and sorry for the mistake!

Robert and Lydia Hanna
They are husband and wife. I have linked them together. I have linked them to their son Robert Alexander Hanna. I added a photo of his death certificate to his memorial which shows they are his parents. Thank you so much for the information, I have added that to their memorials. Please disregard the first message which has no message.
