Bio and Links
Bio Photo Winslow and its cemeteries are a reflection of who we once were and have become. The graves of our ancestors speak the unwritten chronicles of our history. I do work with many Hopi and Dine' (Navajo) families, for cemeteries located on the reservation land, I will not disclose their names or locations out of cultural and spiritual honor, thank you for your understanding. Thank you for your support of and I am happy to try and answer any questions you might have about the local cemeteries or hopefully direct you to someone who may have the answers you are searching for. I hope your day is Blessed. I can be reached via email: or at

Your quite welcome. Anyone can make mistakes I've made my share. Kind people on ancestry & F.A.G. have pointed out my mistakes without making me feel like an idiot. I hope I did the same for you. Have a safe & enjoyable week. Take care & God bless.

Elizabeth Mahala Lewis #15681056
If you are related to Lizzie you should contact the creater of the memorial number I typed next to her name.
She has quoted some documentation for her memorial on Lizzie she posted on 21 July 2011. You have one you created #73682688, & posted on 9 Sep 2006. You two should compare your documentation & decide to delete one of the memorials. Having two memorials on the same person is a waist of space, that a new memorial could take. Besides it could be confusing to others out here doing family research. It was just a suggestion not ment to step on anyone toes. Thank you for your time in reading my message. Have a great weekend coming up. Take care & God bless.

RE: Photorequest for Ester Bailey
She was my grandfather's youngest sister and had asthma. It's my understanding that why she and her husband moved to Arizona because the weather was better for them. I only saw her one time, when she came back to Georgia for a visit. Thanks so much for your kind words.

RE: Thomas Pickett
Kenn, "our" Tom Pickett was born in Wise County, TX. Hi.s parents and other relatives are buried there in Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur. As far as I know Tom wasn't with the Hashknife, but it probably was one of the other Tom Picketts........the one who tried to live off the reputation of Tom Pickett from Wise County.

I don't know of another Tom Pickett who went to AZ from Wise County. Tom's brother, Augustus "Gus" Pickett had a son named Tom, but I don't know that he left Wise County.....and he died fairly young.

I had not heard of a 3rd Tom Pickett..........this makes for a very confusing record of their lives.
