Bio

I was born in Winston-Salem, NC to Julia Gray Warwick Carswell and Robert Wade Carswell, Sr. I have a half-brother Robert Wade Carswell, Jr. My grandparents were Harvey Shannon Warwick and Edith Mae Templeton Warwick; and RObert Theodore Carswell and Mildred Annetta Yarbrough Carswell.
My first husband was Harold LaVerne Sweitzer, with whom I have a child Patrick Joshua Sweitzer.
I am currently married to Thomas WIllis Meadows. Jr

If you find a person on my list and they are related to you and you want the memorial transferred to you, click Edit tab, then click Suggest a Correction, and request transfer. That way I know I'll be transferring the correct person to you.

I will NOT transfer my immediate relatives. That is back 4 generations according to Find A Grave. I would be more than happy to share it, and always love to meet new relatives.

-Dear Ancestor-

Your tombstone stands among the rest;
neglected and alone
The name and date are chiseled out
on polished, marbled stone
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn
You did not know that I'd exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
in flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
one hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
and come to visit you.
