Bio and Links
Bio Photo Cowgirl Genealogist from Western Texas. Some of the names I am researching include:
COWDEN, LAWSON, BIGGS, WEBB, BARBER, FLOURNOY, MARSHALL, EPPERSON, THOMAS, FONVILLE, TOWERS, POTTS, TAYLOR, FOX, HALE, PARUM, BOBO, NOLEN, WISE, GRESHAM, and many others.

I am presently trying to prove my Cherokee roots through the following lines: BARBER, FLOURNOY, NOLEN, JAMES, ALBRITTON, McDONALD. These people started out in South Carolina, came into Georgia, then into Alabama, Louisiana, thence to Texas.

I have other American Indian lineage that I am also attempting to document. The LAWSON and COWDEN lines have family tradition of Cherokee (and Blackfoot); the WEBB line has tradition of Cherokee. There must be others, as I am 1/20 American Indian according to DNA testing.

I'm not sure if we are related but I would like to compare and see if we find a connection.

Chambliss
I saw on Find a Grace that you left a note for Grandpa Chambliss buried in the Chambliss Cemetery. I am researching Chambliss/less and Redding family. Do you know anything about Caroline "Carrie" Frances Chambless or Elizabeth Frances Chambless? Thanks Connie Redding Maxey maisemays1965@gmail.com

I transferred William Parum to you. I would so much rather these memorials be with family members.

RE: Wyatt/Wiatt geneology
Hi Lisa
I have a copy of the 2nd edition 2010.
I have contacted Alex Wiatt but he had no additional info to help with my line. He does not know about the South Carolina Wyatts.... It is there that KY records suggest George Wyatt and Delilah Nation came from before 1804 to marry in Warren Co Ky. He and a couple others have taken Y DNA tests which could perhaps help in showing close kinship should we find a KY Wyatt to test... And he were to agree. I will be in the Shenandoah valley later this year with my wife doing research on her line... Perhaps I can meet him as he isn't far from where we will be.

Commodore Goble
Hello, Lisa. I came across your record for Commodore Goble. He was a great grand uncle through the Goble's. A few years ago I travelled to the cemetery where he is said to be buried, but half of the cemetery is extremely overgrown, with all the stones eroded away to the point of illegibility. He's there somewhere, I just can't say where exactly.
Are you related to Commodore? I'd love to hear back from you!
