Great picture. Thank You! Sharp detail, good light. Appreciate the effort of all who take their time and resources for these projects.
God bless you,

Huisjen--I think our friend Carl Huisjen had a grandmother named Cornelia also. Carl is probably in his late 50s/early 60s. You must be some kind of cousin to him then. Cornelia was married twice then, with 2 different last names?

Thank you, Sharon. This family represents another where both our families come together again. Glad to share it and others, as I find them.
|SHARI KONKEL||John Rottier request|
Sharon, This name caught my attention, as I knew a John Rottier from Fremont--but the dates don't match up--possibly your John is an ancestor. "My" John died a few years ago, prob. late 80s or so then. His widow Lavinna is still living; a wonderful lady. They were dairy farmers back in the day.
I live 15 minutes away from Maple Grove Cemetery but obv. now is mid-winter and not a time to photograph.
I was curious why you are interested in this man? The Rottier family is a large one in our area.
I am not the manager for an Israel Burns so cannot transfer him, and without his memorial number cannot link him to son George. ctwardo

Someone claimed it and I wrote her explaining the situation … but if I were you - Just "delete" that photo request and I will add it to my list. If you stumble upon others - just write to me. More than happy to have them on my first find in the spring / first thaw.
|Megan Heyl||RE: Photo Request|
You are more than welcome! This cemetery is located down a 2 track road that skirts a farm - and it not passable until the road is "dry". Even on rainy days, don't risk it, the tow trucks don't want to try to get stuck too! We have had about 3' snow in the past week or so, then some rain, now 3-6" more - so it will be a while before all is ok to venture down that dirt road. I have you on my list for spring.. and I will email you the photos privately also. If you have any others there - just write me off site and I'll be glad to get them.
|Megan Heyl||Photo Request|
I will claim your photo request at Nordeloos but mark it as a Problem - we have knee deep snow here - so when we have our first thaw / spring - I will go out and get it for you. I have a list of "first finds" of requests for the spring - so I will keep your email handy and let you know when the photo gets posted. This cemetery is virtually not accessible during the winter months - 2 track dirt road back behind a farm. So must wait for thaw and the dirt to "dry" before we can get back to the cemetery. Enjoy your week! Megan
|Lauren Mack||RE: Clark Tweed|
Hi sharon, I am not related to clark. I did a little bit of searching. I found Clark death certificate on the Missouri digital heritage website. http://www.sos.mo.gov/images/archives/deathcerts/1914/1914_00005096.PDF. It has his is wife as Gertie Tweed. I also look online at ancestry.com and I think that I found their Marriage record.
Name: Clark Tweed
Marriage Date: 26 Apr 1911
Marriage Location: Carthage, Jasper, Missouri
Marriage County: Jasper
Spouse Name: Gertie Craig
I hope this help somewhat.
