Would you mind correcting the name to just Samuel Jones? There is no record of his name as James Samuel Jones. Thanks so much!

Hi Dianna. Thanks so much for all of your hard work. The above memorial is a duplicate of another you have added. Would you mind removing this one?

FLUERNA McMULLAN ROBERTSON
Dianna, thank you so much for the photo of Fluerna's tombstone ... the Robertson family called her Elizabeth (her first name) and the McMullan's called her Fluerna. I suppose the
McMullan's did not put up a marker for Samuel (and I don't know of any other Robertson's around except their children ... ) but I will check with a cousin who has been to the Decatur Cemetery to see if he found Samuel's gravesite.
Again, thank you for your time and efforts in locating these gravesites. I apologize for taking so long in responding .. last year was not a good year physically for me ... this one is, so far, much better.

John Albertson
Hi Dianna,

I am hoping you can help me solve this mystery. My ancestor is John Albertson born probably in Overton, but living in Fentress in 1840. Moved with his family to Ray County, MO. His wife is Mary Ann and his daughter Martha E. Albertson married Sanford Gorham. Do you have a listing of this John's parentage? I am thinking it might by Early and Elizabeth...just wondering.

Thanks for all the great photos and posts!

RE: TYPO
Dianna, that's no problem and just stating that there must have been a typo on that C.S.A headstone. The Wedgeworths are part of my family and being a part history buff.......have Christoper C. (C.C.) and brothers war records and there was no Co. H,67 MS Inf.,CSA......they are were in CO. H, 37th MS Inf.,CSA. Thank you for entering Christopher C. (C.C.) Wedgeworth on Find A Grave and that headstone inscription is wrong with his unit number:)

James Cummins
Can you verify that he was called "chicken' Cummins because he raised fighting chickens? It makes sense.

RE: Resa Cummins
I would LOVE to sort it out too. The death record was not a death certificate, but rather recorded in a book. I have a copy of the page, 'I think'. I will try to find that and send it to you. As I recall it looked like Reed, but poor penmanship could easily confuse us. Since you remember seeing it in the family bible yours could be right. I just wouldn't know. Do you have a copy of that page? Thanks for sharing your line. It is all so interesting. I sure hope I can find that record.
