|Deborah Siebenhausen Kiley||SPENCER DILLINGHAM|
I found two DILLINGHAM markers side by side, but off of their supports and seperated by a tree.I took pics of both;however, only one was partly readable with name, birth & death dates.
JAMES DILLINGHAM WAS BORN JANUARY 3 AD 1817
DIED FEBRUARY (?) (?) 1854
2nd As follows:
( ?) DILLINGHAM BORN ( E ) THE 7TH ( 17 )
DIED MAR ( ? ) (18 )
The 2nd marker stone is very flaked off so I can't say for sure if it is Spencer. I would be happy to send you the pics I took if you like.
|MA Featherston||Benjamin Anthony Bennett, III (Jr. on stone)|
Birth: Oct. 15, 1869
Death: Sep. 11, 1935
Texas Death records: Benjamin A. Bennett, died September 11, 1935, in Mercy Hospital from an automobile accident on a public street in Laredo.
TECHNICAL NOTE: The Texas Death Certificate states that death was "instantaneous" from a broken neck sustained in a vehicle accident. While Mercy Hospital might have been where the body was taken, the death occurred at the accident site, not "in" Mercy Hospital. Like I said technical, but none the less a suggested correction. THANKS!!

You are so welcome. It's a little ways out to Bandera but I had thought I'd try to get by again. It's a beautiful and peaceful cemetery. I can only imagine how frustrating that must be.

Jody, you are so welcome. It was my pleasure. I found a few when I first posted the findings but the request was for Mary and it took me forever to find her. But my mom and I went out a couple of weeks ago and after some serious digging and cleaning we found her. So, I am so happy that I was able to help you and yours. Enjoy!!

Hello Jody! I'm thrilled to hear from you!! Yes, I did see her memorial on Find-A-Grave. She was such a special lady; someone whom I will NEVER forget. Please e-mail me at: email@example.com. You should be able to reach me there. May God bless you and your family.

Hello Jody. Your mom was my genealogy teacher when we were in the Billerica Ward in the 1970's. I always loved her and had tried several times to track her down but was unable to. I was very sorry to discover that she had passed away. Please write me back at: firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you very much.

I hope there was no misunderstanding. There is a Lute buried there. He is in row 5. We went and tried are hardest to locate the cemetery today. We walked over 1 1/2 miles on the estate and never saw any headstones or cemetery. I have asked the individual that listed the burials if there were secrets to locating the cemetery. We are not ones to quit. LOL.
Cemetery has no record of this burial. Can you tell me where you got this information, maybe I can look in another cemetery for you.

Jody, glad to be able to help. If you ever have another request where they tell you no marker exist you should call the cemetery to confirm the plot information and if there is a marker present. All of that information is available but some folks do not like to check with the office first before they search and may simply miss.
