|I first discovered this site in 2005. It had just recently opened up to 'Non-famous' graves, and like many others I saw the possibilities.|
It has become a wonderful site, serving the needs of both gravers and genealogists (and, yes, I know it is primarily a grave registration site!).
I particularly pay tribute to the dedicated and hard-working volunteers who fill grave photo requests.

|NancyM||Thank you for the hyperlink text input|
Thank you so much for the instructions to insert a hyperlink within a memorial text. I tried it on both memorials for my late uncle Harlow Blessing. Now both memorials are cross referenced to each other. Although he has 2 memorial stones in different cemeteries, he was actually buried near the military hospital in Key West, FL, during the Civil War.

|Cynthia Schaeffer||Wife of George Pemberton|
I am a descendant of George Pemberton and I'm having difficulty confirming the name of his wife. His find-a-grave memorial #81789148 states he was the wife of Mary Coate, but from what I can determine, his daughter (my 4x great grandmother) was born 19 years before the documented marriage date (1899) of a George Pemberton to a Mary Coate. I found one reference to an earlier marriage to a Mary Lyon - timeline more appropriate to the birth of his daughter. Do you know where the description of his memorial originated as I would very much like to get in touch with the person who wrote it. Thank you sincerely - Cynthia Schaeffer

Thanks! I understand your confusion. I was confused at first too, and they are members of my mom's family- LOL. Have a great day.
|Michael Harris||Ellen Corrigan|
Hello, I had requested a photo of the headstone for Ellen Corrigan, Find A Grave Memorial# 32528677.
I received the following reply.
Cemetery office has no record of this person
They also reported, specifically:
We are blessed with a DVD that records all legible gravestones in the county. Unfortunately, there is no Ellen Corrigan listed in St. Patrick's, or in fact anywhere in the county.
Is she really buried here and would you a picture of the headstone? Or do you know where she may be buried?
|Mary Mall||Enos Smith|
Look very carefully at the photo image of Enos Smith
Gledhill Cemetery, Otsego County, NY
He was born on March 4 1739 rather than March 1.
If you look carefully you can see it is actually a 4.
In the Bible of Levi Halbert, spouse of Enos'daughter Deborah Smith, his birth is also recorded as March 4, 1739. See pp 219-226 of National Genealogical Society Quarterly, Vol 91, Sept. 2003

No, I don't have any more info than you have. He is a distant relative and I got both memorials as hints, so I guess i'll just add both to his profile.
|Susan Potts||John Church|
is this John Church, 137554333, the same as yours?
Just created a memorial, with photo, for Marian S. Thompson, Henry D.'s second wife. #153561476.

Eliza Donaldson is my second great grand aunt. The weather was so nice today it was time to get those pictures. I always know I'm on the right track when I see your memorials.
I'll link them now.

|CherylA||Eliza Donaldson Thompson|
I just took pictures of Eliza Donaldson Thompson and family headstones in the Westfield Cemetery in NY. I also took a picture and added a memorial for a Ray Maginnis. I am assuming this is Alice Thompson Maginnis's child. Please let me know and I will link them.
