Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been interested in genealogy for over 40 years. At a very young age I was fascinated with all the family stories and one of my favorite activities was to visit my Grandma Nutter and look at the old photos and hear her talk about those no longer with us. My parents took me and my siblings to visit the cemeteries every Memorial Day. Dad would carefully, lovingly clean each stone and tell us about the person buried there. He was a veteran of WWII. He said "It is an awful thing to be forgotten. Never forget these people." It is in his honor that I post to this site. Dad, I never forgot.
Some of the names I research are McConkey, McKim, Hornbeck, Milstead, Cosgrave or Cosgrove, Cramblett and related families. Love to share information.

RE: Edward C. Staats
Carol,
Do you have any pictures of Edward and his family? I have very little on this branch of the family.
Thanks!

Thanks for linking Edward to his family. I have been trying to get all of his Staats family listed, linked and all in one place :-)

Hi Carol,
There is a photo on Find A Grave Memorial# 49664930 of two women. I was wondering if you knew which one was Bessie, and if you would give permission to copy and post on Bessie's profile page on Wiki Tree at: http://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Lockhart-771&public=1

THANKS!

I noticed you are managing this memorial, and wondered if you related. She was my 3rd great-grandmother, and I thought perhaps you and I are related.

Thanks
Kathie

Burr and his wife, Rachel Dailey, are buried at Westhampton Memorial Park, Richmond, VA. I don't have pictures of their headstones. I have ment to do that the next time I was in Richmond visiting but never got it done. Rachel died in Coolville, OH, because her daughter was taking care of her - we lived behind them and I remember Rachel well as a tiny, quiet woman.
