ABOUT SAC: When providing DATES, **PLEASE** also provide the documented record. I don't include dates I am unable to find evidence/records for as it doesn't provide proof.|
Also, SAC sent without being logged into FAG (being a member), will be disregarded.
Rude requests will be ignored. A little couth goes a LONG way:)
--My pictures (ALL of them I add) are NOT for ANY OTHER use other than posted here on FAG. No exceptions. PERIOD. NO exceptions will be made. This includes headstone pictures as well as personal pictures.
--I do NOT condone obituary stalking. I think it's rude and a huge disregard to families. With that being said, I WILL add a recent death if it is someone that has completely touched my heart. Day to day stalking of current obituaries is NOT cool and I do NOT do it.
--Nobody on FAG is out to disrespect any family or privacy. We add pages for various reasons including genealogy purposes, personal reasons, and because we want to memorialize someone. Obituaries are public and are easily found. If you want privacy, then please avoid publishing a public obituary. It's the easiest way. I can delete memorials, but I cannot guarantee they won't be added by someone else later.
--I appreciate everyone that has sponsored memorials for me! I am very flattered<3 I also do thank each and everyone of you that do visit the pages of my family and friends....:)

|Rhonda C. Poynter & Friends||RE: Birthdate|
Hi, Thank You for all the info and hard work - well, the story is that Dad's information was wrong in the censuses throughout his childhood by a couple of years, for whatever reason. Now, as you see on his page, he never personally thought that December was his actual birth month, and when I got his file through FOIA, his birth information is stated very clearly and plainly to have been supplied by a family friend, and not a family member...this file put his birth year as 1935, which again, is what I heard growing up. I think the only thing that does surprise me about the census info is the month of December, which Dad said he chose to use - he also stated that Lucien was probably his real first name, but that he had always gone by Jr. or Ron, and his FOIA file does not state Lucien as a legal first name, anywhere. So it's a mess...re your remembering this info, you may have tried to help me a year or so back but then I lost my mom, and everything went on pause...also, quite a bit of my own writing as well as other mention of Dad is online right now due to my pending book and anthologies just released, which are on Amazon and Kindle...so you may have seen our name around. =) Katherine may be a stillborn sister of Dad's, I heard about a stillborn being born when he was about 8 or 9 (again, his remembered age at the time would line up more to 1935 as a birth year than 1933). Yes, Lera was his mother...I don't know a thing about her. Dad's father Lucien was linked to Dad's page without my input; I am not certain how I feel about it, as his family was somewhat distanced from us because of Dad and Mom's lifestyle - which I completely understand. I do know that Lucien fought in France and came home with serious lifelong injuries, and I have been trying to track down any awards and military files to add to his page, simply because nobody else has done it. Military men and women should NEVER be forgotten. Anyhow, I will keep all this info you sent on file, and I do appreciate it...I may keep Dad's original version of his birthdate up because he was so adamant about it (as have been friends of his that I have interviewed through the years), but I'll keep trying to find out whether the censuses were wrong; I have never seen a birth certificate for Dad and that would be the one piece of paperwork that I do not think would be incorrect. Hope all is well with you and yours, it's almost Summertime, yay! =) Hugs, RCP and Gannon Blue
