I live in Lorain County, Ohio|
My mother started me on family history by taking me all over Michigan looking in cemeteries for headstones and families. Then she would tell stories about everyone. She transcribed all the headstones we found and kept wonderful records. I am continuing on her love of family history and going back to same cemeteries and seeing the family. Thanks to find-a-grave I have found more family and hopefully can help others.
My goal is transcribe local cemeteries, not only the older graves but the newer ones so families can connect. I find I can connect families by their locations to each other in the cemetery with the added benefit of learning the history of the cemetery.
If I manage one of your family members and you would like me to transfer the management please let me know.

There is an office that has records for burials in the cemetery last time I talked with her. Contact the township clerk - website at: http://somersettownship.org/
|Patricia Moreland||RE: John Moreland|
Oh My Gosh! How fun to hear from you! Yes, I will be honored to care for the perpetual care of John M. Morelands' gravesite. He was my Great Father. Thank you for taking the time at your convenience to take a picture of his head stone. Now I am on the search for his better halves grave site. She was Mary Ann Cowin Boyce/Boyd. And I have a picture of her. Now I need to discover how to download pictures onto the website.
Let me ask you do you often find living relatives? What a rewarding job for you!
Also another question for you are there many head stones that you are unable to read in the cemenary? I have at least 4 others Morelands not listed at the cemetary that I know for sure were buried there.
And last question how can we obtain a large readable copy of the death certificates? I found the websites small copy for John M Moreland and for Isabelle McKinney Moreland. ( So far I do not know how Isabelle is related to us)
Hope you dont mind me asking you these questions. Hard for me to find the answers from CA! Also is there an office at the cemetary and possible a phone number there?
I look forward to hearing from you with a picture. Youre awesome! God bless you : )

|Pamela Thompson||Gravestone Photo Permission|
I am happy to see that you photographed the gravestone of Barbara Alfred Shaver in Saint Boniface Catholic Cemetery (your Memorial# 111148802).
I would like to add this gravestone photo to the (non-profit) Alford American Family Association's collection of West Virginia Obituaries, where her obituary is (or will be) included. You can see the current collection at http://www.alfordassociation.org/OBITS/WVOBIT.htm.
May I have your permission to include your gravestone photos? If so, the photo caption will say:
Photo from [cemetery name, city, county, state]—www.findagrave.com
Permission granted by the photographer, RLE [or your full name if you prefer]
And thanks so much for your gravestone photo work!

Ha! Just found your cute message!
Again, thank you so very, very much! Other Schoeffel headstone pictures would be very much appreciated. You mentioned Bernard. He is a son. A young daughter is also there, Doris Lucille Schoeffel. Perhaps there is another daughter, but DO NOT GO BACK if you didn't find this: Hildegarde Beatrice Schoeffel Carlson, who died in 1967.
Your effort was very kind. Stay in one piece so that you can keep on truckin'.

|H. Bundy||A THOUSAND THANK YOUS!|
Thank you soooo very much for helping me out with the headstone pix for Frank Schoeffel (Find A Grave#124709500). His 80-year old grandson who was afraid to go to that part of town will be MYSTIFIED as to how I found the photograph!!!
I am trying to compile a matrix chart of the 12 children of my Great Gpa, including face pix and headstone pix. Four children died young in Sandusky Co.,two died in Florida, the others died in Cuyahoga County.
I am still missing, and have requested a LONG TIME AGO through Find-a-Grave, other sibling pix in the Cleveland area.
1) Joseph L. Schoeffel, died 12/16/1958 and buried in West Park Cemetery, Cleveland. Find A Grave#: 124604209; and
2) Florence Schoeffel Petrie, died 6/17/1964 and buried in Whitehaven Mem Cemetery, Mayfield, Cuyahoga, OH. Find A Grave#: 124647211; and
3) Clarence Schoeffel, died 2/11/1956 and buried in Lutheran Church Cemetery, Cleveland. Find A Grave#: 124606635.
On this fine Memorial Day Weekend, you are my hero. Thank you! HB

|H. Bundy||Pix Request|
Some years back, you took a pix of the headstone of Ralph Joseph Schoeffel (Find A Grave#: 80478890). For about a year now, I have asked and asked through Find A Grave requests to have a pix of Ralph's father's headstone taken. In fact, I even requested that Ralph's now 80-year old son take a pix for me. The son said that NO ONE will go to that cemetery because of safety reasons. WILL YOU?
The person is Frank Schoeffel, Find-a-Grave Memorial #124709500. His grave is located at Calvary Cemetery Cleveland in Section #76, lot #728, Grave #3. Thank you. (email: email@example.com) I am the great niece of Frank Schoeffel. HB
