Columbia Tingley
I am confused about the birth & death dates you have for Columbia Tingley in Arnold Mills Cemetery in Cumberland Co.,RI. It appears that you have the correct dates listed, but not in the top area of the post. I show his as born 1792 & died 1880, which matches to his tombstone. Pam

No, I am not related. I fulfilled a photo request and did a bit of research to link the photos. Sorry.

RE: Francis B. Smith
I will be happy to transfer ownership for Francis Smith over to you. Gale and Gates Cemetery is very difficult to find if you are not from Royalston or know the back roads of Royalston. My mother and many of mother's ancestors were from Royalston. Several of my ancestors are buried at Gale and Gates so that is how I know where the cemetery is. The cemetery is on a dirt road out in the sticks of Royalston and the entrance is not marked at all. Unless you know where it is you would easliy drive right past the entrance. You can not see the cemetery from the road. You need a four wheel drive vehicle to drive up to the cemetery or it is a short walk up into the cemetery. If you need asistance in finding the cemetery I would be happy to help you out with locating it, just let me know.

Memorial Photo of Edgar L. Blackinton
Hi Tom,
I found the photo of Edgar L. Blackinton's family, Memorial Grave #15564585 that you had taken. There was a lot of good info I found from this photo. Thanks ever so much for adding it on. I was able to make several connections except for Robert R. Joyce 1916-1991 & his wife Mary McC., 1918-1987. By the difference in age an educated guess would be that Robert R. Joyce is the son of Robert E. Joyce 1883-1932 & Caroline Elizabeth (Blackinton) Joyce 1890-1952. Can you verify this for me. Could you add this photo to Edgar's wife, Malinda A. (Treen) Blackinton aka Linnie 1867-1935 & Byron F. Blackinton's wife, Clara, 1865-1943 & Robert E. Joyce 1883-1932.

Malinda A. (Treen) Blackinton #67364151

Clara Effa (Treen) Blackinton #67382285

Robert E. Joyce #15648568

Memorial Transfers
Just letting you know, I went ahead and transferred all of the Walker, Sabin, and Gillett memorials that I had created. Some that you had mentioned, I did not have. I know that there is a memorial for Lydia Walker Jenks, I added a picture for her. Someone else created the memorial.
I know I sent enough to keep you busy for a while... haha. I am sure they are all related to each other some how.
I am glad I was able to help you! If you need me to go hunting down some more ancestors, drop me a note. I do not mind at all helping....glad to do it. Take care!

RE: Harris Photos - Sexton Cemetery
Just letting you know, I took a quick glance through Saybrook cemetery and found some Walkers. Not the names you mentioned, but thought that they may be a relation...however one of the people I got, I looked up info on and it stated his father was Elisha/Elish Walker. It was Charles Walker born Dec. 21, 1827. The mother's name was Harriet Sodin. Not sure if the same Elisha, but thought that I would mention it. I plan on going back and taking some time there. I am sure I over looked quite a bit. Like I said, it was a quick run through. Hope they are a relation! Let me know. Take care!

RE: Harris Photos - Sexton Cemetery
You are very welcome, glad to be able to help! As far as the Walkers, I did not see them in the cemetery. Do you know for sure they are buried there? I also checked the Ashtabula Genealogy site that also transcribed the cemetery and did not see them listed. If they are in the Sexton Cemetery, I would have to assume they are unmarked. There are a few cemeteries in the Saybrook/Geneva area. If I can figure out who holds the records for the cemeteries, I can see if they can help me locate them? Can not promise anything, but willing to give it a shot. I looked up Julia's death record on's pilot search and it stated that she died 21 Jan 1907 in Saybrook, is that correct? If you have any dates, that might help as well. Let me know! Take care and hope you had a good weekend.
