I am the younger brother of Maurice Morton, a Vietnam Era Combat Assault Helicopter Pilot (281st AHC - "The Intruders" & Co. "C" 158th CAB - "Phoenix"), and, currently, Commander 2nd Battalion of Michigan Governor Snyder's MI-VDF Brigade.
I am the great great grandson of Alexander Miller Jr (b: 1840 d: 1920), who was a member of Company "A", 17th Infantry Regiment, United States Colored Troops (Pensioner & combat veteran, i.e., Battles Of Nashville & Brawley Fork TN, and, also, the Battle Of Decatur AL).
Edit Requests Thank you for the edit requests. They will be processed as soon as I review them. Just a reminder, or in case you don't know, I thought you might like to know that I transfer out of guidelines. If you would like custody of any memorials I manage please submit an Edit request using the "Suggest any other correction or addition" option. If I am not related I will transfer. Thank you!
"Unknown" burials You hare creating unique cemeteries named "Unknown". This is against Find A Grave policy. When creating a memorial where the place of burial is not known, choose the "Other" category rather than "Cemetery burial", then choose the option "Recent death, location of body unknown". NEVER create a new cemetery called "Unknown".
When using the above option " Recent death, location of body unknown", the FAQ states that this is ONLY to be used for recent deaths, and that within 30 days you must find and enter the actual place of burial. If you create memorials with this option for deaths that occurred years or decades ago, your memorial will be deleted when someone else creates a valid memorial with an actual place of burial.
RE: Roger Terry Michael, I am not transferring Roger to you because I am not required to, and whatever your reasons are for wanting control over his memorial makes no difference. You are not related. Just add him to your Virtual Cemetery.
As far as the Tuskegee Airmen being "all together" if you have them in a Virtual Cemetery, they ARE together. Why are you pressing this issue? If you want me to place a link to your Virtual Cemetery in his bio section, I will do that.
