|I am a native Oklahoman, I have worked in a variety of jobs, from mortician's assisstant to restaurant head cook, from janitor to a roughneck(the oilfield). But I find what we do here is very important, to find someone on a piece of paper, court document, old microfilm. A name that connects to yours, a name that is lost, a general nobody amongst billions, and to realize that without that name-your name would not exist. Nothing, with the exception of God, is stronger nor more important than blood ties.|

Thank you for your time, i really appreciate your help.
Thank you so much for the photo of this baby's gravesite. Mom, Dorothy (Bussell) Davis, was a child when her older brother's baby died and she had not been able to return to the grave. She is now 98 years old so you have fulfilled a dream of hers. Thank you.

Thank you. No, I am not directly related to Eva Lynn but am working on filling in blanks in the trees of my Martin and Land family from Decatur Co., IN. It appears three of the Goodale family married into the Land family. I was asked (from another researcher) about whether or not Gertrude and Josie Goodale were the same person and that led me to check out all the Goodale family to see just who married whom and if there were two sisters one named Josie and one named Gertrude...It apears Gertrude and Josie are one and the same...but in my research I came to find Belle was Clara Belle and had her married name but no location. Then started to find them in Harper Co., OK and kept running into more questions...
I keep telling myself these families are so far removed from my own that I should just ignore them but I have never been able to walk away from an unfinished puzzle.
You have helped me solve this particular one. Thanks again.

From your messages I read you are a direct descendant of the Ben & Clara Belle Kilpatrick. I am working on Belle's family and have just seen there are two entries for Eva L. Kilpatrick. One is yours as Ogden and the other has her as Eva Dunsworth. Can you explain this? Are there two graves or did she marry twice or were there two Eva L. Kilpatricks? The Dunsworth entry doesn't have a birth date but has the same death date.
Thank you so much for your time and help with the grave markers.. it is appreciated.

Thanks--and I appreciate the warning--the secretary must not be a genealogy person--I have just returned from a trip and have a lot of catch up to do, and will see about working up my courage--Thanks for the time and effort that you spent--Loneta

Thank you for telling me about the pictures you uploaded of William and Clara Belle's headstone. They are my great grandparents too. :)

I am going to try to contact the people who made these 2 Thacker memorials--maybe they can help.
so many graves are unmarked and lost, I was hoping that I had found these people. Thanks so much for the work that you do--it is comforting to find family and learn their stories--every little bit of information helps--Thanks again, Loneta Boyer
