Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am retired in Boise, Idaho. I have loved spending time in cemeteries since I was a little girl. Helping people by exploring cemeteries and photographing grave markers for them is a dream retirement activity for me.

I walk the rows taking random photos when I am in a cemetery, and add the photos or the entire memorial to Findagrave if they are not in. I particularly concentrate on veterans (and their spouses), infants and children. I feel the veterans have earned the right to go to the front of the line. And I feel that since the babies and the children got so little on earth, at least I can give them some electronic "life".

I am always happy to add any information to a memorial I manage. Just send it. I am also delighted to add obituaries; just make sure that I have the correct attribution to add so the paper's copyright is respected.

If you find any errors of fact, date, relationship, or spelling on any of my memorials, please let me know. As a former professional proofreader, I KNOW that no one is perfect all the time, including me. I will fix it.

I will transfer management of memorials in line with the Findagrave guidelines, which specify relatives in a direct line. Specifically, they say: "Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Any non-direct relatives (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc) are not required to be transferred." Please do not ask.

Fanny Tate
I thought I had everyone listed for that picture. I will have to go back and check it. Fanny is buried in Little Creek Cemetery. She died at 16 year of age.

There is a sad story about her death.

In the 1800's the female condition of coming into womanhood was not discussed or passed down from mother to daughter.

Fannie had started her menstrual cycle and did not understand what was happening. A frightened young girl, she waded into a spring fed creek thinking that the cold water would slow or stop the bleeding. She must have stayed in the water quite a while and took severe chill. She ended up dying - probably from pneumonia.

Tate Family Photo
Hi Sue,

I believe the girl in the third row, far right, that Lois Ams posted on John L. Tate's memorial is Fannie Tate (02/03/1884-01/17/1900). Fannie was a daughter of John L. Tate and Mary Elizabeth Wood Tate.

Melissa Tate Roberts
Would it be possible for you to add the parents of Melissa Tate Roberts to her memorial.
Melissa's memorial number is 99463846 in Canyon Hill Cemetery.
Her parents are John L. Tate, memorial number 132120688 and Mary Elizabeth Wood Tate, memorial number 132120705.

They are both buried in Little Creek Cemetery in Wright Co., Missouri. You might want to check out John's site if you are related. I have added a family picture.

Thanks, Lois Ams

RE: George Washakie Hull
Thank you for making the additions. Did you happen to get my last update for my aunt Goodrid Hull (Hicks) - her year of death was 1990.

Thanks again!

RE: William G. Hull
Yes, you are correct.William G. Hull was the son of George and Alice.
I put in a request this morning to have his page linked to his parents.

Dennis Larson Headstone
I appreciate your taking the time to photograph and upload the nice picture of Dennis' headstone. He is my Dad's cousin and we knew him quite well. Last week I spent a morning at a local cemetery doing some photo volunteering for Find A Grave, so I know the effort involved. Thank you!
