Your tombstone stands among the rest
Neglected and alone
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished marble stone
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood and bone
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so
I wonder if you lived and loved
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot
And come to visit you

|jen davis||my grandma|
Your find a grave is wrong for my grandma. Helen P. Carpenter Sells born 1931 married James Harold Sells. Helen is still alive and kicking. So please remove her from the deceased. Grandpa on the other hand went to the other side around thirty years ago. So that is correct. Also you've done great work with other family members. You're info is very helpful. Thanks, and have a beautiful day. jldavis
Thank you so much!

Are the graves of my distant relations Joseph & Mary Severn (and their children and Marys' siblings) early pioneers of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? If so, I would be fascinated to hear their stories.

New "Automated" system for "Suggest a Correction/Submit an Edit"
New System for Memorial Edits deployed by FindAGrave on 12/5/2013
Go to your Contributor/Profile page.
Look in the upper right corner. You should now see a tab called "Edits" - check there to see if any have been submitted to you. Then just review and accept.
Way easier for doing updates to names/dates/places/plot numbers/links. If you don't approve within 21 days it will automatically accept it.
You still will get e-mails to add info to bio section.
