Bio Photo The girl in the pic is my daughter. Her stone reads, 'Sometimes things happen that make us ask, "Why, GOD?" And all we can do is to look to HIM in faith, not understanding, just believing. Our Amazing Grace, safe in GOD'S care."
I am a retired Middle School Secretary. I love to walk cemeteries & take photos to enter on this wonderful site. I am researching: my side ~ Roberts, Taylor, Thomas, White, Hall, Gobble/Gabel, Seaman, Butner, Terry, Tripp, Shearer, & Gudgel; my husband's side ~ Wagner, Polansky, Taylor, Harris, Garlett, Miller, Russell, Myers, & Silliman.

We are each of us angels with only one wing; to fly we need only embrace each other.

God Said, "I Know"

I said, "God, I hurt." And God said, "I know."
I said, "God, I cry a lot." And God said, "I know."
I said, "God, I am so depressed." And God said, "That is why I gave you sunshine."
I said, "God, life is so hard." And God said, "That is why I gave you loved ones."
I said, "God, my loved one died." And God said, "So did mine."
I said, "God, it is such a loss." And God said, "I saw mine nailed to a cross."
I said, "God, but your loved one lives." And God said, "So does yours."
I said, "God, where are they now?" And God said, "Mine is on my right and yours is in the light."
I said, "God, it hurts." And God said, "I know!"

Let me come in where you are weeping, friend,
And let me take your hand.
I, who have known a sorrow such as yours,
Can understand.
Let me come in - I would be very still
Beside you in your grief.
I would not bid you cease your weeping, friend,
Tears bring relief.
Let me come in - I would only breathe a prayer,
And hold your hand.
For I have known a sorrow such as yours,
And understand. ~ Grace Noll Crowell

Francelene Hovermale Oak Lawn Cemetery, West Plains, MO
I was trying to find the birth and death dates for her and the Social Security death index lists a Francelene Mae Gillette Hovermale born 21 Mar 1924 and died 18 Oct 2010. There is another memorial for Francelene Morrison Hovermale in Oak Lawn Cemetery that has an obituary listing both Lewis Niles Gillette and Robert Leonard Hovermale as spouses. Robert does have a single marker in Oak Lawn Cemetery but Francelene only has a marker in the Gillette family plot. The marker shows the birth year only of 1924. The obituary does list the birth date as Mar. 21, 1924 in Elijah Ozark County Missouri, USA and the death date of Oct. 18, 2010 in West Plains Howell County Missouri, USA. There was no marker for her by Robert Hovermale and I have yet to find another marker for her elsewhere in the cemetery with the Hovermale surname. I would like to suggest that memorial # 61044808 and #133699078 be merged as these appear to be the same person.
