RE: Maryanna Roganski
Sorry for the repeat messages, I just thought of one more thing that might help in your search. I use the St. Louis Genealogical Society website in looking for family. There is a naturalization listing for Jacob. His ID#68953. You could probably call the St. Louis City circuit court and see if they have anything listed for his parents. Oddly, his naturalization record lists Germany as his country. But then, whoever was the informant on his death certificate could have not really known and just assumed it was Poland.

RE: Maryanna Roganski
Jacob's death certificate lists "john" as his father, born in Rus Poland. I'm taking a wild guess that is Russian control Poland. Have you looked through the Missouri death records on-line? I used every variation of the spelling of Roganski to find the few records I found.

I would love to get a hold of a census record listing Jacob & Maryanna with their children. Or even a passenger list showing who they traveled with in 1888.

My sister-in-law is descended from Jacob & Maryanna's daughter Mary Ann who married John Price. She is not familiar with the Roganski line at all.

RE: Maryanna Roganski
oh and this second John Roganski - I'm not sure how he fits in, he might be a brother or nephew of Jacob. http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=51704176

Maryanna Roganski
Hi Doris,

Thank you for following up on my edit suggestion. Sorry my response is delayed, I didn't have much time for back tracking tonight until now. I started researching this family for my sister-in-law. Maryanna is her 2nd great-grandmother.

During my research of my sister-in-law's line, I search for death certificates and burial locations.

I've found death certificates for John Roganski, Jacob Roganski, and further down I eventually I found Maryanna's death certificate. http://www.sos.mo.gov/images/archives/deathcerts/1916/1916_00033109.PDF

Let me know if you need any other clarification.
Sharon

RE: William Ford (Foord)
I believe 1721 must be the correct year. Some documents indicate 1722 but the stone is most likely accurate.
