I'm very much hooked on genealogy. Now that I'm retired I am willing to help others and fill photo requests for my area. This site has been a great help to me in finding information and photos and it's time for me to help others. |
I'm currently photographing cemeteries in Hubbard and Eastern Becker county, Minnesota.
During the winter months I have been looking up obituaries to add to memorial pages that appear in the old Park Rapids Enterprise. If you are looking for an obituary you can email me but please make the request during the winter months.
I will add to, change, delete, and Correct any Memorial I've added.
I will be happy to Transfer Memorials according to FAG Guidelines but I will consider other transfers on an individual basis. Please State your relationship when asking for a transfer. I will not transfer Bulk name requests.
Please use the EDIT tab and SAC to ask for a transfer or to have me correct or add information and state your relationship to the person when asking for a transfer.
No need to ask permission if you want to use my photos for ancestry and personal use, but I do appreciate credit given to me for taking them.
Please do not take my photos and upload them to another page on Find a Grave. If you need a photo added to a different page just ask and I will add it.
If you want the Photo's for resale, for profit, permission is denied.
I am Researching these surnames: Reeser/Rieser, Dunham,Curphey,Newell,Lantz,Adams,Sullivan,Lamb,Bentley,Chapin, Wangen,Meisenhelder and Ziegler.

Please don't use chalk, flour, chemicals etc. on markers when taking your grave photos. Overtime these things can all cause damage to a marker.
PLEASE,DO NOT use the message board for sending information or transfer requests. That is not what it is for. I WILL NOT MAKE ANY CORRECTIONS, LINKS OR TRANSFERS FROM MESSAGES LEFT ON THE MESSAGE BOARD.

In the event of my death or my becoming inactive for a long period of time I would like all my memorial pages passed on to my son DR Wangen #47374156.

You have a nice photo of this person on Find A Grave. I am wondering about the source and copyright and if I can get permission to use it in an article I am writing for a non-profit genealogical newsletter about this family.

Hi Joan! Would you be a relative of my Uncle Scott Edmonson's? I am a great granddaughter of Levi's, John and Vickie Craven's youngest daughter. My dad, John, is Cathy's (Scott's wife) older brother. I assume you also live in Lewiston? I sure miss my cousins there and all my Aunts and Uncles and of course Grandma Elsie! She and I have the same birthday. I live in Virginia now, my husband is just retiring from active duty.
Regarding Great-Grandpa, I apologize, I had gone back into my edits and deleted this edit, but it must not have deleted in time before you saw it, for some reason? His parents' Quaker records clearly show a "Levi Eliza" and there is a WWI Civilian draft registration card that says "Levi Elzie" but all else I have says "Levi Elza" and that's how my dad remembers him also. So, I agree, Levi Elza!
Incidentally, I put in photo requests on Find A Grave for Grandpa Robert (Robert John Craven), who died the year before I was born (he died in '78), and Grand Uncle Vaden, who I have very little info on his family. They are both buried in Woodland Friends Church Cemetery also. Vaden is actually in the same plot as Levi and Alta, according to the map. It would be fabulous if sometime you have time to mosey down and get those? I would greatly appreciate it! I have never seen my grandpa's grave (Robert).
Thanks, it's so great to talk to you!
I found an article on Edwin, would you like me to email it to you? I can't add it, at photo max.

Thx for photos, former school teacher spouse parents.

The notation is fine. I was going by the Iowa Births and Christening index which lists him born in 1884.

Thanks, Joan, that is some good information that I can follow up on.
Sure, if you can locate an obituary for either John Tyler Prentice or Evelyn S Wright, it would be appreciated. I don't mind waiting.
|Jean Metzger||RE: John T Prentice|
Sorry, I was trying to compose a question about the John T Prentice memorial when I hit the wrong button and sent the (non)message.
This appears to be my great grandfather and I was wondering how to ask questions because this is the first time I have seen any link between him and my great grandmother who were married for a short time - just long enough to produce my grandmother. I'm still curious about Evelyn S Wright and her history, but still don't quite know what questions to ask or whom I should ask them of.
Does this make sense?
