I've been working on genealogy since the mid 1980's. I was born and raised in NW Indiana.|
If there are any photo's you need from this area I'll see what I can do.
I don't mind if you use the photo's I post as long as you are doing it respectfully and give credit where credit is due. I believe that genealogy and research should be shared. I am not in it for the numbers of being the one who's taken the most photo's or written the most memorials. And I will transfer any memorial that I have added to a registered family member of the person. Please request respectfully and let me know your relationship.
When I create memorials that aren't my direct ancestors, I feel it is a privilege to pass them on. I like to help people "see" their loved ones.
I'm not in this to write all sorts of rules for others to try to follow. I don't believe this site is about that. I believe this site is about helping others to find their long lost loved ones. And if I can help others do that without trying to make myself look "important" then that is what I will do.

"I was wondering if you would be willing to transfer Robert Kennedy's memorial to my safe keeping. He is my maternal Uncle.
I appreciate your consideration. Thank you."
Well of course !! Transfer complete.

Hi Carol, You're welcome. After I transferred them, I looked at the ones you created and should have just deleted mine. Yours had more info. Mary

I submit edits per Find A Grave protocol. Your interpretation of my tone is being taken out of context. I was not trying to be rude or mean. I am just a "matter of fact" kind of person. I apologize if I insulted you, was not my intention.
I have only one enemy on here who is trolling my memorials consistently due our differences of opinion and style. Diversity is great! Keeps life interesting!
Have a great day!

All of the information on all my memorials comes from our church cemetery records. If we have something recorded wrong, I want to fix it. Please send me what you have and feel free to use my email address.
Memorial has been transferred to you.

I'd be happy to correspond with you about the Upchurch family! Guess you can see I am slow to respond. Actually I'm not always this bad!
Hi! I hope you can help me. How far back have you researched this lineage? Can you confirm for me that thru Katherine Wymbish you descend to Charlemagne, Wm the C and several English, Scottish, and French monarchs? Thank-you

Thanks for the transfer. Have a question. Is Peter Hoover Cemetery the same as Geo. Washington Hoover Cemetery? My Samuel is listed in that cemetery as well with a photo of his stone.

No, according to Eliza (Snider) Gardner's obituary
"Her mother (Jane) was a sister of Michael SIMPSON, who for many years was the leading tailor in Middletown."

Michael Simpson (Find A Grave Memorial# 54311615)
(findagrave gives different parents)
was born to Arthur Simpson and Catherine (Butcher) Simpson in 1820 in York, PA according to
"A History and Biographical Cyclopaedia of Butler
County, Ohio." Western Biographical Publishing Co.,
Cincinnati, Ohio, 1882. Page 659
Michael was Jane's brother (and Mary's, I assume).
