I want the memorials I create to be as correct and complete as possible - so I am happy to put your edits through for my memorials - BUT PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR EDITS ARE CORRECT. At the same time, please let me know if you find any errors on my part!!!!
REGARDING TRANSFERS - please follow findagrave.com regulations as posted:
"First, Determine if you really need the memorial transferred to you for management. Only request transferring of management if you have extensive changes to make to a memorial. You can add photos and suggest corrections without having to request management. Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a management transfer request. With hundreds of thousands of contributors, we have many overlapping family trees and it would be impossible for all contributors to manage their entire tree.
Second, Transfer requests will be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Third, If you have extensive additions/changes to make to a memorial, please contact the Find A Grave member who created the memorial via the "Suggest a Correction" link under the "Edit" tab on the memorial in question with your request to have the memorial management transferred to you. This will send an email request to the contributor, even if there is not an email address listed on their contributor page.
Fourth, Explain your relationship in the request! Any non-direct relatives (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc) are not required to be transferred. Keep in mind that the original contributor may also be related to the memorial and may not make the transfer. Again, always include your relationship to the memorial on a transfer request, in order for it to be considered. You may also want to include your specific interest in the memorial. Bulk surname requests must not be made. Be advised that memorials listed as famous or maintained by Find A Grave will not be transferred."

Thank you so much for transferring my great grandparents' memorials to me, Fred Lance and Wilhelmina Lance. I really appreciate it.

Done! And I linked children Fredericka (you have listed as Ricka) #164146064 and Elmer #164146022. Cheers!

hi James....I have photographed almost all of this cemetery, so I was intrigued when I saw that your memorials were not photographed. I rechecked my photos and realized that I had duplicated your memorials because of the spelling of the names. You created memorials for Charles John Boldt, #101533377 and Wilhelmina Maria Friedericke "Minnie" Muchow Boldt, #101533505. Since I was only working with the information on the stone, I created Karl J. Bolt, #164146124, and Wilhelmine Bolt, #164146233. Would you like me to upload the photos to your memorials and delete mine? Best, Marje

Sincere thanks for linking Jennie McEwen to parents and family.

Thanks so much for the quick response in linking Harry to his parents. It's always so nice when a family comes together!
And thanks for all of your work on find-a-grave.

I just fulfilled requests for both Norman and Margaret Balling. I also noticed adjoining graves for Leonard (Norman's brother?) and Anna Balling. I have those photos as well, if wanted? The request came from "Roanho" (member), and I left a message with them. If either of you has a memorial for Leonard and Anna, I'd be glad to post them.

|gayle neuhaus||RE: Hattie Corey Greggers|
You are certainly welcome to use Hattie's pix. She married the son of my great, great uncle, Peter Greggers. In my research on the family, I found a note that Hattie & her husband had an adopted child. Do you know anything about that? My Greggers are the only ones in all of Find A Grave.
|DAVE BATKA||Carl Batka|
I was searching for my grandfathers, grave site, a follow up search that my dad and mom did back in the early 70's by walking up and down the rows, they did not find his grave site, so I looked on line and was able to find Carl Batka
Find A Grave Index
Name Carl Batka
Event Type Burial
Event Date 1929
Event Place Tonawanda, Erie, New York, United States of America
Photograph Included N
Death Date 10 Jul 1929

So this leads me to believe that there might not be a head stone. Any way to see if he is in fact there?
I found this site, http://nedschim0.tripod.com/tonaroots/id3.html but they do not even have his name listed.
