Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been researching my family history since 1988. I love learning about the stories of my ancestors and the places that they are from. I love spending time in cemeteries. I wander around looking at headstones and wondering what the people were like. I love to find the headstones of my ancestors and tell them they are not forgotten. I take pictures and add pictures that I have. If you want them You may use any of the photos that I have Contributed. If you have anything to share it would be greatly appreciated. I will share anything I have.

Most of the memorials I have are my family and Ancestors. I will not transfer these memorials.

pvt Lloyd Mcdonald
Hi! Lloyd Mcdonald is my great_uncle, and I am trying to find more information of where he is buried in France. May I ask if you have any other info and where you got the pictures from? My brother has the purple heart from Lloyds death. I have been told that he was part of the DDay invasion by my father, but I have no indication he is truly buried at. I recently was at Omaha beach and the American cemetery but didn't see him there.
Thank you for posting the pics!

I have added the headstone photos from Farringdon Cemetery as you requested. I did attempt to clean them as best as I could. Still not the best.

Andrew Dowling Photo
Hello - I am curious of the photo of Andrew Dowling, Morris Hill Cemetery, Boise Idaho. He was my great, great grandfather, and I have never seen that photo before. Can you tell me more about the source of the photo? Thank you!

RE: Help with a photo at cloverdale
I've checked the area of the grave and don't find a marker. I'll do some more detailed looking and if there really is no marker, I'll get a photo of the general area. It's near the edge, by Fairview Ave.

Thank you for the hours and hours you spend in preserving our families. This one, her mother was my great grandma, I have some corrections and you asked if there were things I could share. I do have her parents' obituaries. Not sure it will connect to findagrave here, but if it is your family too and we are indeed cousins somewhere along the line, you may want it. I also have a couple photos of Hettie. I will fill out the edit form to have her linked to Isaiah Brothers and Hettie Reed.
The correction is for the death date:
Iva died on the 16th; was buried on the 18th according to Illinois, Deaths and Stillbirths, 1916-1947.
Below are the obits. If you would like the pictures, or the article about Hettie being among the oldest in the community, please contact me at My name is Betty Latta Kitchen.
Here is Isaiah's obit:
Brothers, Isaiah Brothers
Source: The Canton [Ohio] Repository; 13 Aug 1883
Mr. Isaiah Brothers, of Pike township, died Saturday, aged 29 years. He leaves a wife and two children. The funeral was held this afternoon at Nelshamer* church, Pike township.
*Submitter's Note: Either this is a misspelling of Melscheimer or Melscheimer had another name back in 1883.
Miller, Mrs. Clark Miller, nee Reed
Source: The Canton [Ohio] Repository; Monday, 28 Apr 1952, page 11
Mrs. Henrietta (Hettie) Miller, who resided all her life in Pike Township near Howenstine, died Sunday in the McMacken Convalescent Home in Paris at the age of 92. She was the widow of Clark Milller.
Surviving are a son, Homer O. Miller of Canton; two daughters, Mrs. Loree Rhodes of Coshocton and Mrs. G. L. Cannon of Forest Park, Ill.; 10 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted by Rev. LeRoy Miller Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. (EST) in the McCreery-Krieghbaum funeral home, Cleveland Ave. SW. Burial will be in Melscheimer Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday afternoon and evening.

RE: Help with a photo at cloverdale
Hi. Your great grandfather is at Cloverdale Memorial Park. However in searching the spot he is at, I find no marker. He apparently is in an unmarked grave. I'm going to do a little more searching and clarification to make sure I have the information correct. When I can figure out exactly where he is, I'll send a photo of the area. It's right on the edge of the cemetery next to Fairview Ave. More later.

Ivy Slutz, Mt. Emblem Cemetery
I attached a photo of Iva Slutz's grave marker to her memorial per your photo request. I'm writing because her husband, Nilen W. Slutz is buried next to her, but there doesn't seem to be a FindAGrave memorial for him. I did take a photo of his marker and will attach it if you wish to create a memorial.
