I have always loved cemeteries, both for their aesthetic qualities and the infinite stories they contain about individuals, communities, and history as a whole.|
This site is a wonderful escape for me; I appreciate the way it combines art, history, and paying respects to the deceased.
I take photos here in Polk County, Florida, 99.99 percent of whom are not my relatives. If you find that I've added a memorial for your Floridian friend or family member, I'll be happy to transfer the memorial to you if you wish. I'm also able to add information and return to get photos of nearby graves, etc.
I depend on generous Find A Grave volunteers to take photos for my own relatives in cemeteries in Michigan, Ohio, New York, and throughout New England. Thank you, thank you to all those who have created memorials and added photos and information for my family members in faraway states.
Although it is not my sole reason for contributing to this site, genealogy is my passion. I love to help others; please contact me for more information about any of my primary families of research. I have volumes. Literally.

|Ken and Karen||asking permission to use headstone photos of my family|
Thank you for being a Photo Volunteer. You are doing so much to help others. I believe if a person spends their time and efforts taking the headstone photo they should be given credit for it which I always do. I was wondering if you would give me permission to use your photo elsewhere as long as I give you credit for taking them.
Have a wonderful Day!

thank you for your time, it gives me a couple more puzzle pieces, Larry
|Larry Wales||Everett- Scott|
Am trying to piece together my Grand mother's( Helen Wales) maternal side of the family. Her mother was Alice Dickerson Brown, Alice's mother was Helen Marr Scott Dickerson. They were related to William Everett I think through his wife, Cynthia Scott Everett (#16247185). My grand parents visited a Charles Everett in Michigan. Elizabeth Cranson was his sister. I'm wondering if you have anything on the Scott's that you could help me with, regards, Larry Wales
|K. Packard||Abigail Packard|
I'm wondering how I may find Abigail Packard's grave. If my information is correct, she was born in 1733 to John Packard and Lydia Tomson Packard.
She married George Packard in 1766 after his first wife passed away in 1765. http://plymouthcolony.net/bridgewater/nehgr/19202.html
She is the link to the Packard-Cooke connection so I'm keen on establishing lineage.
They had several children and their son George is buried in the Underhill Flats Cemetery. http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=99167224
It would be interesting for many of their descendants to find her.
Thanking in advance,
Do you by chance know Arthur and/or Reba Pickard personally? Seeking more information on them and descendants. Thank you.

I just left an edit for you. If you need help/reasoning with the edit for the maiden name, please let me know. I have Kujawas in my family tree.
