How did you get the bio on Albert O'Hara? I'm curious because I would've sworn that this was not the same Albert O'Hara as the one I was searching for in New York.

I was there once also, during the summer when the ground is hard and found some half buried stones. I was thinking to go back sometime in the spring when the ground is soft and probing around with a knitting needle or something to see if I could find any buried, but it's hard to find the time, and I haven't gotten around to it yet. I'll keep my eyes peeled for Brace.
Thanks again, Pat.
|Lori Schell||RE: Hart Photos|
Your welcome. Sorry I couldn't find the other one. But wanted you to have the one next to the one I found.
|Lori Schell||Joseph Cole|
I just posted Joseph and getting ready to post Margaret Cole next for you. Also plan on posting other you requested Ben Hart. But, Frances Hart I am not sure about unless its the stone I could not read. I didn't have a paper and pencil to shade it for wording or lettering. Think it felt like Frances but couldn't make a positive Id on it.
I left a couple of transfer requests. Just wanted to make sure you got them. Thank you for your help and all the work you have done!

Hi Lori, I am Patrick Lincoln and have been looking for the grave of my ancestor's daughter, Almira (Hoit) Cahoon, who lived within a half mile of Spring Lake Cemetery, as did her sister, Louisa Currier and father, Joseph Hoit, and brother Nathan Hoit. And also looking for a sister Frances, married to a Lansing Cahoon. Have you ever run across any information about these local people there? Was that cemetery a church yard, and are there more unknown graves there, or up the street at the Center House? Thanks, Pat

Pat Owen and I have been researching the Taylor family and I know Pat has added photos to several of the Taylor family memorials including the ones you are managing below:
William Taylor 21889469
Johanna Taylor 21889478
Would it be possible to transfer these to one of us? These are my GGG grandparents.

Hi Lori - The birth & death information I've added is from her birth & death certificates. David
|John Merwin||RE: Livingston Memorial Requests|
PS: I see you already have one request on the correct cemetery site--Sarah Shearer.
|John Merwin||Livingston Memorial Requests|
Yes, this is a VERY confusing situation. The site where your requests are listed now is the "Livingston Memorial Dutch Reformed Church Cemetery" in the Village of Linlithgo, Columbia County, NY. That's a very small church with only about 40 tombstones in the adjacent graveyard, so when I saw how many requests you had, I knew something was wrong. I looked anyway and of course didn't find a one of them, which confirmed something was wrong. Lucky for me--as a weekend visitor to the area--the buddy I stayed with who has a country home in that area--knows the area well. So very quickly he suggested we drive five miles to the Dutch Reformed Church in Town of Livingston, for a reason I'll explain in a second. And sure enough that's where I quickly found all but one of your requests. On Findagrave the correct cemetery is listed as "Livingston Reformed Cemetery" "ALSO known as the Reformed Dutch Cemetery of Linlithgo Cemetery." That last part gives rise to the confusion, as the church appears to be in Linlithgo, but it's not. It's in Livingston. My guess is that the church was founded in Linlithgo and later moved to Livingston, but retained "Linlithgo" in its name. So search for "Livingston Reformed Cemetery" in Columbia County, NY and you'll find it--note a photo of a red brick church on that page. The preceding may be more than you wish to know, but that's the story.
