re: the photos of Edward and Cornelia Pratt gravestones, be sure to look at them in the 'photos' section of the memorial and then left click on the actual photo and you will see a significant enlargement.

the gravestones have raised lettering and are actually slightly curved with the middle higher than each end, so the camera does not pick up an even image. hope this helps.

John Junior "Jack" Swartz, 82, of Coronado died April 29. He was born in Anaheim and was retired from the Navy. He served in World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Joan Swartz; stepdaughter, Teri Forbes; stepsons, Michael Ingram and Glenn McClintic; sister, Patricia Clark; brother, James Clark; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services: 1 p.m. July 30, Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, Cabrillo Memorial Drive, Point Loma.
Inurnment: Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery.
Arrangements: El Camino Mortuary-Imperial Avenue Chapel.

Deceased Name: SWARTZ, JOHN "JACK"

John "Jack" Swartz born August 20, 1924, died April 29, 2007 in his home with his dear wife, Joan, at his side. Jack retired from the U.S. Navy after serving 30 years. He served in World War II, Korean and Vietnam Wars. After retiring he became the dock-master at Glorietta Bay Marina where he worked for over 30 years. Jack was a chartered member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, Div. 16, Flt. 05. Jack received many awards of excellence for his service in the U.S.C.G. Aux. Jack will truly be missed in the boating community and by his family and friends. Jack is survived by his wife of 30 years, Joan Swartz, son Michael Ingram, step-son Glenn McClintic, step-daughter Teri Forbes, brother James Clark and sister Patricia Clark. Memorial Service date to be announced. In lieu of flowers please send a contribution to U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 16-05. Mail to: John McColly at 621 Cabrillo Ave., Coronado, CA 92118.
