NOTE: AT THIS TIME, IT'S NOT POSSIBLE|
FOR ME TO BE ONLINE DUE TO MY HUSBAND'S
HEALTH. I DO APPRECIATE YOUR
LOVELY TOKENS YOU LEAVE FOR MY FAMILY.
PLEASE KEEP OUR FAMILY IN YOUR THOUGHTS
AND PRAYERS. MAY GOD BLESS
EACH OF YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
I want to thank each of you for your thoughts
and prayers. Your kindness means a great deal
to me and my family.
I'm retired, doing genealogy work & enjoy helping on the findagrave.com website. I'm a proud Okie., born & raised in Oklahoma. I am of Cherokee decent, as my Great Grandfather and Grandfather signed the Dawes Rolls. I have been doing my 'Long' family tree for years and have found so many cousins online.
It has certainly been interesting and most enjoyable meeting and hearing from new distant family members. I have learned so much about
my ancestors and their lives down through the generations, I hope to perserve their memories for future generations to come. This is why I like working on the findagrave site, hoping to help others looking for their loved ones. I have found others to be very helpful and kind to share information.
My husband and I are enjoying our church, family & early retirement.
Aren't the Grands Fun?!!!
We have two beautiful granddaughters.
Madison, 10 and Gracie 8........
If I have made any mistakes, or
you would like to have your family
info added to their page, please contact
me and I'll be happy to add it for you.
I want to also say thank you for taking the time to visit my loved ones memorial pages and leaving a note for them. God Bless You
A Special'Thank You'to 'God's Special Angel'

I made the correction. Thanks. I knew that too. I had it correct in my own records so I'm glad you caught it.

I am so glad that I could help. I know how frustrating research can be sometimes. I am hoping that I get to help many more researchers find their loved ones. Looking forward to helping many more.

HI, As far as I know, there is no connection of our cousin Joe Bill Long, to your Longs. Joe Bill and his wife, moved from Ava, Mo. to Camdenton, Mo. to be near their daughter and her family. Joe Bill was originally from the Ozark Co. Mo., and Marion Co. Ar. area., his ancestors coming from PA.
Hope this helps.

Hi Phyllis, There is a good possibility that the Barbara Lazarus your researching may still be alive, I know that T.V.F.T.H. who recorded her memorial, has in the past added names of stones placed in cemeteries, that have not died. I looked and could find any information on her death. Sorry I couldn't be more help. You might check with the Funeral Homes in Boone Co. Ar., they might have a record for her.

You asked whether I know if Willis Hortons' son, Clyde E. Horton was the same Clyde "A." Horton married at one time to a Helen Lazarus, married on the 15th of July, 1939, Boone County, Arkansas.

|Ray ||RE: Willis Horton|
Sorry, I don’t know whether Clyde E. Horton is the same Clyde “A.” Horton who m. 14 July 1939 Boone Co, AR. To Helen P. Lazarus (b.1921), dau of Mordecai and Paralee Lazarus. But it’s certainly possible. I see in the 1940 census Helen is back home with her parents and listed as “married” while Clyde E. Horton was still listed at home with his parents and “single,” though I don’t see another Clyde Horton of that age in Arkansas during this period who could be the one who married Helen. He married 31 May 1941 Dora Wynona Toliver. So perhaps if you can get his 1941 marriage record, it may list whether he had been previously married and divorced.
Possibly Lennette Horton knows. She has a gedcom entitled "Hundreds of Hortons" on Ancestry.com at http://trees.ancestry.com/tree/61891304/person/38075093088?ssrc=

Cora's father, Benjamin Long #59798591 and Clercy Hightower #59798593. There are at least 2 public trees on Ancestry for the Hightower families. I have added an edit for her parents to be linked to her memorial.
