Major Frederick C.A. Kellam IV, is my grandfather! I am so overwhelmed that so many of you care so deeply for him. He was a wonderful person and is deeply missed by my father, Michael, my brothers Michael II and Frederick The Fifth(!), and me, his only granddaughter, Christine. I am in the process of writing his biography, but am having trouble finding Army records as they were destroyed in the Nat'l Archives Fire 40 yrs ago. If anyone has info you could share, please email me! ANYTHING is appreciated:)|
Thanks! Christine Kellam-Nardone

Merry Christmas! I am so glad to hear from you as I made it my project a couple of months ago, to add as many of the people in my father's infantry (504th) as I could to the site. Some had already been added. I actually came across one man who was with my father the day he was killed.
I wondered why your grandfather was not in my virtual cemetery so I went back and saw that he was in the 505th. I put him in my "special veterans) cemetery.
Believe me, it's an honor to remember your grandfather! I hope you will be able to find some information on him. My father and uncle both had been added to this site before I became a member. I can't tell you what it meant to find them here!
Have a wonderful New Year, and good luck in your search. The info is out there somewhere. It's just a matter of getting to it.
I would Live to Make the connection between
Your Grand Father, and My side of the Kellam Family.
