Cemeteries are "a memorial and a record. (They are) not a mere field in which the dead are stowed away unknown; it is a touching and beautiful history, written in family burial plots, in mounded graves, in sculptured and inscribed monuments. (They tell) the story of the past, not of its institutions, or its wars, or its ideas, but of its individual lives,--of its men and women and children, and of its household. (A cemetery) is silent, but eloquent; it is common, but it is unique. We find no such history elsewhere; there are no records in all the wide world in which we can discover so much that is suggestive, so much that is pathetic and impressive." ~~ Joseph Anderson, American clergyman (1836-1916) |
Retired & loving it! ~~ Using Find a Grave guidelines, if you wish me to transfer management, or edit/add information, please ask via Edit tab/SAC link. ~~ If you wish to use my copyrighted photos, you must provide photo credit. ~~ Thanks to the Findagrave staff who run this website. ~~ Happy searching.
Nov 2013: I have limited doing photo requests as it has become increasingly difficult based on many of the local cemetery offices questioning the validity/legitimacy of providing photos online. Contact me if you have a special request.

Sure, Linda. I'd be happy to do that.
|Marianne Bradley||Curlew Hills cemetery photos.|
Your added photos of Curlew Hills are a very nice addition. Can you please rearrange your photo of the Greek Arch to be after the generic photo of the Curlew Hills wall photo? On all of the Memorial pages the Greek Arch shows first, which is not appropriate for the non Greeks. MAny thanks for your contributions to Find a Grave. I love it also. Marianne Bradley

You have Mary and Marcus David Luke with five children, they had 12 all together. Do you want the rest of their names? One of them is my grandfather. Rick
