I have put a great deal of time into creating many of these memorials. I am continually researching the memorials that I've created and often find more things to add. If you have some information you'd like added, let me know.
Please read the Find a Grave policy to see whether your request qualifies a transfer. If it falls within the guidelines, then, please use the EDIT button on the top right of the person's memorial page when you want to request a transfer since it provides me with the link to that memorial.
Any non-direct relatives (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.) will not be transferred. The goal is not to "own" every memorial of those to whom you are related. The ultimate goal should be to have meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it.
I am more than happy to have anyone add their personal photos of people on a memorial. However, I discourage adding death certificates and genealogy material in printed form out of a book.
Dr. William Lewis Gaines Hi, I see that you have added the picture of Dr. William Lewis Gaines marker to 2 cemeteries. Can you tell me if he is actually buried at Memorial #7789654 in the Wheeler Cemetery in Wheeler, Wheeler, Texas, USA or at Memorial #42731107 in the Edith Ford Cemetery in Canadian, Hemphill, Texas, USA? Many thanks, Brenda Green
Graham Cemetery, Savannah, TN I am just curious, you have made a memorial page for 2 of my great aunts (Lou Ella Blagburn Harville 138859348, Sarah Blagburn Harville 138871676) and placed them in Graham Cemetery, Savannah, TN. I have done extensive research on my family tree and although I have found that my 2 great grandfather, his 2nd wife and their son Luther are buried in the Graham cemetery, I have found no evidence any other of his children are there. I would like to ask how you discovered that my 2 aunts were in this cemetery and if you have information that I am lacking would you be willing to share that for genealogical purposes? Thanks for your work.
Strong family Donna, thank you so much for the William & Mamie Strong transfer, it was very kind of you. I hope to visit their graves the next time I visit my daughter in Amarillo. Thanks also for all the work you do on find a grave. Donna~
Can you please tell me how Thomas Dodd's age was determined to be "37" if his date of birth was not on the head stone. were the words "Aged 37 years" engraved on his headstone? If so, could you possibly get me a picture of it? I would appreciate it?
Addition Information Add Request Hi, I am relative of the baby named Sharla Diane Howell. I am not requesting ownership of it since I am only a cousin, but I wondered if you would please link her family to her memorial page. I feel as though she was left out and since she was a baby is probably unknown to many researchers without the link. This is a direct link to her father Jimmie Howell, her mother Edna Howell, 2 of the brother who have also passed named Robert & Michael.
