I had a dream the other night a delivery truck pulled up to the house and was unloading some huge boxes and crates, four in all. I am watching as they are being loaded into the house and then I saw PARR Cemetery stamped on the side of one of the crates. My friend John Jackson was just about to open it and I screamed "Don't open it"... and I woke up!|
I was born in Ottumwa, Iowa raised in Munterville, Iowa then moving to Blakesburg, Iowa and on to Muscatine, Iowa. Find a Grave has helped me bring my family who lived before me together. My Great Aunt Dr. Stella Pearson, D.O. (Aunt Teddy) enjoyed going to the cemetery to clean up, decorate, and tell me the stories about each family member we visited. I have found so many of my family because of our early trips to the cemetery. I just wished I had taken notes when she was telling the stories of family history. I put in a request for a picture of my father's grave over one and a half years ago and no one ever bothered to take a photo for me. Four hundred miles later I had his picture and many more. Today my passion is to fill as many photo requests as I possibly can for those who need that last family photograph. I am getting good at finding a grave and the walks are wonderful!
I have entered several cemetery records from online sources on snow or rain days so if I have any of your family no matter the relationship I will transfer just ask me and I will make it happen. Please provide your contributor number.
If you want multiple monuments photographed, please take the time to create a memorial for each person rather than attach a message to one request asking for multiple photos.

|Tom and Nancy Gawthrop||Levi Wolfe Jr.|
You took a picture of Levi Wolfe Jr 1851-1925 at Elmwood Cemetery, Morning Sun, Louisa County, Iowa. I was wondering if Levi had a wife and if her name was Miranda Jarvis Wolfe. My husband has Jarvis in his ancestry, and Miranda also lived between 1851 and 1925 in Morning Sun, Iowa. Her Find a Grave memorial is #7863126. The bad part of researching this memorial is that sometimes the married name and the maiden name get mixed up on a few Jarvis memorials, so I do not know if Miranda was born a Jarvis and died a Wolfe, or if she was born a Wolfe and married a Jarvis. Any info you can share will be highly appreciated. Thank you. Nancy Gawthrop
George Looney is the small stone on the right. The big stone is Charlotte Looney but I could not find a stone for the elder George Looney.
