The main lines I am reseaching are: Caito, McCann, Rains/Raines, Trisler & Zike.|
If I have added someone from your family line, I would be willing to update it (if it is also one of mine) or if not, I will transfer the memorial over to you where they belong. Just let me know. All postings by me, are made to honor that person, and are done so with dignity and respect. If there are misprints, or incomplete information, please let me know & I will update the memorial.
As a VOLUNTEER CONTRIBUTOR of my time,
energies, and talents at this website, my mission for this project has been to:
FIND graves (and cemeteries)
ENTER photos at FAG
Therefore, ALL my PHOTO entries are (in virtual reality) 'volunteer' photos! Please respect FAG guidelines, and copyright LAW by NOT copying/enhancing and then RE-POSTING any of my photos! Thanx -

Consider the transfer done. She is not related. I add headstones memorials and photos when I go and fill other requests at the cemetery. I see she did not have a memorial, so I added hers.

Most of the Raines are right around the church. All but Martha and Issac. They are in the other section of the cemetery and they are right beside each other. Sorry it took me so long to get the other pics to you.

Hi there, are you related to Frank Hersom? He is my wife's Gramps and I am looking for additional information for him as I am putting together a life sketch. If by chance you are not related could you transfer ownership? Hope all is well in your part of the world, have a blessed day!

That is the only Raines I could find or read, There is no order in that Cemetery. It is divided into two parts. I searched both parts. There are several old stones that you cannot read anything on them.

Hello Sandra, I've transferred your grandpa's memorial to your care. I was also able to confirm that his parents, John & Sophia Zike are buried in the same cemetery and all share the same plot. I've created their memorials, linked them all and transferred them to your care as well. They are the only Zike's buried in Holy Rood.

...or, you could call the fairmount office and get all of the Carsons buried there along with the lawn and plot numbers.
Other volunteers such as you and I are going to be more likely to help if you save them these extra steps.
I transferred Lydia to you but Richard is not in that cemetery. Not under that name anyway. Happy Hunting! R
|Lisa Carper-Stott||White Pine Cemetery|
I recently visited the White Pine Cemetery in Jackson County, WV. I posted the photo of Hannah Raines that you requested. I also have her in my tree. I have her last name as Ary. Where does Noe come in? I am related to the Noe family from the Newton, Roane County area. Also I did not find the other Raines. Benjamin I believe. There was a stone that could just be a grave in that area but no apparent stone with markings.

Thank you Sandra - if I do not catch a message the first time, please resend or drop a note on my message board - (those old edits were often missed because the incoming emails looked just like the outgoing & some would slip by) - I like the new system, but if in doubt - give me a heads up on my public message by a "hey, I just sent you and edit or email!"
I arrange for burials and always post the obits at our post office...boy I hate how some are worded & often reconstruct the sentences so they are concise & clear (no one is born IN a town, they are born AT a town, for example, Ha!)
Thanks ~ Shirleen
Sandra - yes, I think obit info is important, but should be either referenced with the source, or condensed into a more concise format.
I think some people do not like to add them because of findagrave requirements and also if they are lengthy or messy, like that one was.
Please look at what I cut and copied - several misspelled words...I will go back and clean it up after you look at it. Thanks for all you do ~ Shirleen
