PVT A. J. Hardin
I'm trying to make sure I have the correct resting place for Andrew Jackson Hardin.

You have Find A Grave Memorial #: 91375593 for PVT A. J. Hardin, with the info. PVT Co. G 42 Ala. Infantry CSA having him born 23 Apr. 1850 died 05 Apr. 1899. Could your birth date on the memorial possibly be wrong? Could it have been 23 Apr. there any way for you to check that?

There is another picture I have seen that looks amazingly like the one you have.....only you can see the info on it more clearly and it has for the birth date 23 Apr. 1820 and death date 05 Feb. 1899. It is the headstone for Andrew Jackson Hardin. Also has the inscription "I have fought a good fight I have finished my course I have kept the faith. That headstone is supposed to be in the Madison Cemetery in Madison Co., Alabama. I have found the headstone for Andrew Jackson Hardin's sister Ida Hardin in the Madison Cemetery also.

If your PVT. A. J. Hardin was born 1850 would he have been old enough to fight in the Civil War?

Just confusing to me and I'm trying to get right info. Thanks, Barb.

J H Hafley
Hi, I believe you have the headstone photo for Mary V Hafley accidently attached to J H Hafley in the Mooresville Cemetery in Mooresville, Limestone County, Alabama. It is also attached to Mary and was wondering if you also had a photo of the headstone for J H that you meant to attach. Thanks so much! Susan Handley

RE: David Jones
Hi Patty...

David Jones has NO Headstone... he is in the plot/open space NEXT to Isaac Phillips... The Cemetery Manager had to locate the plot and show me where to photograph... Sorry for the misunderstanding... Mark

Hayneville Cemetery
I see you placed the Cemetery photo for Hayneville Cemetery in Lowndes Co., Ala. I was recently there and was wondering are the 2 Cemeteries next to each with a femce seperating them, are they both Hayneville Cemetery or does the other one have a different name?
Thank You, Robert Adlet
