Bio and Links
Bio Photo My daughter and I research family lines in our family. And I do it as a hobby,I think everyone should know where their love ones are lay to rest.
This says it all .
Many many years ago when I was twenty three,
I got married to a widow who was pretty as could be.
This widow had a grown-up daughter
Who had hair of red.
My father fell in love with her,
And soon the two were wed.

This made my dad my son-in-law
And changed my very life.
My daughter was my mother,
For she was my father's wife.
To complicate the matters worse,
Although it brought me joy.
I soon became the father
Of a bouncing baby boy.

My little baby then became
A brother-in-law to dad.
And so became my uncle,
Though it made me very sad.
For if he was my uncle,
Then that also made him brother
To the widow's grown-up daughter
Who, of course, was my step-mother.

Father's wife then had a son,
Who kept them on the run.
And he became my grandson,
For he was my daughter's son.
My wife is now my mother's mother
And it makes me blue.
Because, although she is my wife,
She's my grandma too.

If my wife is my grandmother,
Then I am her grandchild.
And every time I think of it,
It simply drives me wild.
For now I have become
The strangest case you ever saw.
As the husband of my grandmother,
I am my own grandpa!!

From the Find A Grave guidelines listed on the left of any memorial under the link "Help with Find A Grave". Read them and watch them as they do update maybe once a year...not often:

"If there is a known cenotaph or memorial marker for one of these alternative dispositions located in a cemetery, add the memorial to the cemetery and add a note to the memorial indicating that it is a cenotaph and what, if known, happened to the individual's remains. If there is an existing cenotaph within a cemetery for someone who had a alternative disposition, do NOT add another memorial under the alternative disposition (such as Burial: Unknown, Lost at Sea)."

Knowing this, if I were you, I would move the memorial to the cemetery of the marker and make note the ashes were scattered in the bio. The memorial can be marked as a "Cenotaph" (a marker but no body in the grave) by writing a short email with a link to the memorial to info@findagrave.com. It will take a couple of week for the marking...but do move it to the cemetery. I have several cenotaphs in my collection of made memorials...most lost in the war.

Yes. The photo is of Hattie and Willie Hodge. By chance, are you related to either Hattie or Willie to know more about them. My husband's mother is a Snyder and I communicate with other Snyder clan women.
